You tell me. You keep directing animosity towards all Jews based on what
some Jews do you don't agree with. Just look at what you say above. You
say you have an issue with Zionism but then you turn around & insist that
what defines a Jew is to acquiesce to genocide.

Shut the fuck up, you racist doofus.
Wow, if you believe killing is justified because God, the
mightest=rights, advocated killing, you think? Then Hitler must have
been right, because he had the might. Is this right? Hmmmm. let me think
about it. But did God really say that? Or did a Jew write
that...claiming God said it? Did God write the Bible himself or was it a
bunch of Jews? Jews who claim they shared this rapport with God in the
remote past, but can't seem to make him utter one word today?
How is that?
Maybe because what God really is, is a composite minds of all the left
brains in Mankind. He lives in mankind as a supermind, between us and
the Holy Spirit, which is the mind behind all of reality. God favors his
right side and right arm, naturally, because the left brain controls
them. Left brain processes language, so WORDS and LAWS are his way of
governing the people within him. Just as his Kingdom of Heaven[his mind]
lives within us.
Jesus is his human center. Where his judgement becomes human. Where he
forgives as man and a God. So Jesus is able to forgive sin. Not as an
all-powerful God, but a man within God.
This is why the Golden Rule is true. Because loving your neighbor is
Loving God.
Oh, did I mention there is a conterpart mind within Mankind, composed of
Right brains, favoring the sinister left hand. You can him Satan. The
right brain, the builder, like cain, the artist, like the second
anti-Christ, Hitler.
Tsh, tsh, what some people kept hidden from the world.
Actually I can answer that question. I would like to see if anyone else
can?
It is aweful reasoning to think they have the OK from God to kill. It
makes Hitler right by any argument. Is that desired or not? Bet not.

Are you even aware of the Old Testament? God said, "Thou shall not
kill." But then told them to kill. David even thanked God that He
was a God of war. Then the Son of David came, but in His love He
showed some restraint in being gracious around 'dogs.'
The contradiction between the two may be difficult for some to
resolve. But I think there are a large number of beasts out there,
and so obviously full of trouble. I don't think one can murder a
beast, nor save them.
I would not complain if you loved your neighbor, if they are
capable of being neighbors. But when championing 'human(?) rights',
in your big heart full of gifts to _whatever_, then please leave my
property, and my children, alone, thief. I don't believe you are
being that civilized, or solving any problem at all.
Yes, "For God so loved the world..." But that dung heap over there
can't possibly be my world. And you will not make it so. I do not
see where Jesus did. His teachings were to the _civilized_, (or to
restore them to that state which was lost.)
You will not give them my state, out of a perversed love.

The creation of the current Israel was by the hand of men whose main

And of men who were mostly non-religious secular socialists; in
cahoots with nonJewish men and women who erroneously thought that a
"national homeland for the Jews" was a great idea.

That's the worst thing about religious Zionism - it turns a creator
who is supposedly a pure spirit and fashioner of universes into a
Bronze Age land baron whose greatest interest is the preservation of a
tiny patch of Middle Eastern real estate.

Actually, the Hebrew God has more than one mask, persona, or guise.
Depending upon who wrote about him, he was in many instances a
bloodthirsty war god. However, he was also in other texts a font of
compassion for both Jews and Gentiles, both of whom he had created.
Texts about _this_ God often claim that He is not interested in the
survival of Israel, and that pagan conquests of Israel were only to be
expected, given certain conditions. Some of this God's prophets even
preached that doing God's will meant refusing the military "draft" and
surrendering to Israel's enemies.

Indeed. "Palestinians coveting Israeli land" is a hilariously inept
mistatement of the real problem. "Israeli land" never existed until
it was created by secular fiat in the Balfour Declaration and in the
later U.N. "partition". Palestinian refugees and their descendents
"coveting Israeli land" is a paranoid Zionist fantasy.

Christ's golden rule does not conflict with His Father's will. I suppose you
think they were wrong to OBEY God, who ordered that His OWN law "Thou shalt
not murder" be broken when He ordered them to kill ?

Well, the Zionist slogan was "A land without people for a people
without land" and i see nothing wrong with that whatsoever.
Unfortunately, they chose to move in en masse to a land that already
had people. A people who had been promised their own Independence as
an Arab state for their help during WWI. Which of course, is where the
problems all started (after 1917 and the Balfour Declaration.) I would
be ashamed to be British if it werent for the fact that the men taking
these decisions do not really represent the majority. Not in My Name.
Pastor Frank Both sides have taken land from the other many Jews who
lived in Arab lands were killed and or their land taken by Arabs.
This happened right after the Arabs attacked Israel in 1948. Why do I
hear nothing of the Arabs giving back the land they took also. Seems
most People just don't like the Jews. To me they should just forget
the land part and make peace. If the Palestinians want their land
back they should also force Egypt, jordan, lebanon and any other
country that confiscated Jewish owned lands to give it back.
As far as "Christian Mysticism" goes it can't be any worse than about
half the so called Christian groups that preach Hate and spread lies
when it will get them a few dollars. Few people speak out about Pat
Robertson, Benny Hinnn or the Christian Coalition all that spread lies
and hate and to me are not even partly Christian. I hope Christ does
not approve of lying to make a Dollar or get a Vote.
Are you suggesting that all acts of men are inspired by God? For
example, Hitler or maybe 9/11? Or just the ones you personally agree
with? Isn't it lovely to have a god that does things you agree with
all the time? Ahhh, gods, wonderful things.

Well, there are a number of things we could talk about regarding the
book of Revelation. For example: How can we be sure what the person
writing this down (There are scholastic arguments as to WHO actually
wrote it) is telling the truth? How do we know he wasnt just plain
crazy? The Christian world seems to put an aweful lot of weight onto
this one mans visions, a man whose identity is not even agreed upon by
many Christian scholars. Of course, he certainly seems to have been
familiar with the book of Daniel though. Even to the extent of a
little plagiarism here and there.
And what about the mystical/esoteric/Kabbalistic side of it? Or do you
take it more or less literally even though you claim... to be a
Christian Mystic?

Absolutely and without a moment's hesitation. Do you believe that
stepping off a cliff will cause you to fall onto the rocks below, or
that you'll just fly away like a bird -- because somebody tells you so?

How incredibly insulting and idea; but I understand that you don't see
it that way. You want your choices chosen for you. I do too,
sometimes, but it always turns out to be a bad idea in the end.

Who would want to be identified with such a narrowminded god? He
sounds like ageek. Zeus had a wider purview than that! I might as well
pray to my toothbrush, which knows my mouth really well but not much
else.

Revelations has been clearly identified as a lot of rubbish falsely
stuffed into the Bible at a much later date than that of its writing.
John the apostle was apparently a very different person than John the
nutbrain who wrote down his psychotic dreams under the title
"Revelations". The problem with reading the Bible as a literalist is
that you don't ever ask the questions that lead to discovering such
distinctions, so if somebody had added in a pizza menu that would be
your Holy Word too. Pathetic, really; pity this looneyness is so
dangerous to the saner elements of the world.

Actually, as we were made in His image, and likeness, such is a very
God-like side of us

There is some truth in both the literal and mystic take on the texts, no one
is purely a literalist / mystic
I call myself a mystic because I am more of a mystic than a literalist. As
becomes very clear in the threads in which I go head to head with
literalists

We all have our opinions
That God is higher than we, that He made us, for His own use/purposes, that
He rules, and we serve ?
> but I understand that you don't see

Sometimes.
And some choices I had made, screwed up ones, have made me wish that I
wasn't given as much freewill as I have... He would have made far better
choices for me. Then again I am a lover of independence.
> I do too, sometimes, but it always turns out to be a bad idea in the end.
Sounds like you chose the wrong person{s} to make your choices for you,
because with God "all things work fof the best for those who love and TRUST
Him, according to HIS purpose" (If you love Him you both WANT His purposes
fulfilled in your life, and KNOW that fulfilling His purpose brings you your
greatest JOY
(Sometimes though I wish He would let me in one just what His purposes are,
though, 'cause it would be a whole lot easier for me to work WITH Him,
instead of discovering that I have been at odds with Him, which happens more
than I would wish)

Aren't we talking about the fulfilment of His prophecies ? Which in the end
includes EVERYONE alive, yet to be, and who ever lived (as they return to
life).... I hardly see THAT as "narrowminded". He grants us limited free
will, free to to anything, even to DELAY the fulfilment of His word, but we
can never totally change the fact that His word will not return to Him void,
Hie WILL will happen, even if He has to turn some of us into His PUPPETS

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions,
and giving of thanks be for ALL men(humans), for kings and ALL who are in
authority, that we MAY lead a quiet and peacable life in all reverence. FOR
IT IS GOOD AND ACCEPTABLE IN THE SIGHT OF GOD OUR SAVIOR, WHOSE WILL
(ABSOLUTELY WILL BE) IS THAT ALL MEN (HUMANS) WILL (AS IN WITHOUT A DOUBT)
WILL BE SAVED, AND COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH"
In the end EVERY knee, including yours, will bow to God's will

Nice duck, but although it was the last book to be included in the Canon,
because a lot of people (at the time) held to your above view. God clearly
stepped in, because it IS INCLUDED.

Many see this, and even call them dif titles "John the Beloved" for the book
of John, and "John the Divine" for the writer of Revelations.

Thing is, reading it as a mystic, noting that they are not both the very
same John, is quite IRRELEVANT

If you listen very, very quietly, you can sometimes hear that still,
small voice!
The real problem is not that God has stopped talking to us, but that we
are too busy shouting at Him and at one another most of the time to stop
and listen. It's an art really. Some people call it prayer, some call
it meditation, but it's the same thing really when it achieves the real
purpose of such exercises and quiets the mind so that it can hear beyond
the material, outer layer that is so noisy.

Or has to take the time to PAINUFLLY teach us how to serve Him joyfully
because we will not learn painlessly.
The problem with Revelation is not the book so much as the fact that very
few people have a clue what it's about any more. (And I'm not about to
teach it in here).

There can be only one! :-)

Indeed, a good deal of debate and prayer went into deciding what to
include and what to omit.

The posts here or anywhere else are the result of law, not of
consciousness, not of personal decisions. No one can be anything else
than what they are, and they can not control what they are.
In all the happenings in this world the law is at work, and man "sees"
it as people doing this or that. It is not Jews or Arabs doing anything,
it is the law at work through man. Does anyone think that Jews or Arabs
or any other group in this world can become something other than what
they are? They are stuck in beliefs that conflict with others. As we all
are.

I don't get it, do you parents out there demand your children worship you ?
Or give sacrifices to you ? Or humble themselves indignantly before you ? Do
you tell your children they inherited original sin ? But of course you are
perfect, and didn't ? ......Yeah, that's what I thought.
In other words, personalization of a higher power is ridiculous. I do believe
in God, by the way. But my God is big enough to not expect those things. I
follow my inner guidance instilled in me by this higher power, not the mad-made
lies of earth's 'religions'
God is bigger than religion. But since most people are drone by nature, they
need feel-good, myth-inspired books like the 'bible' and clerics and priests to
'show them the way'
Hmm.. 'show them the way' to the collection plate, no doubt.
Wake up, before the matrix seals your fate. 'Religion' is just another program
running this illusory, deceptive realm of control. And only the strong break
out.
Forget everything you were taught in Sunday school...the MEEK will NOT inherit
the earth. And neither will the stupid. Nor the patriotic, nor the ones who
never question authority. Those types of people always die faster, you see.
Just check out the dutiful American soldiers in Iraq, dying every day. They're
cannon fodder, expendable human bodies, collateral damage, unfortuanate
casualties.
I wish Bush had to notify each and every family of their loved one's death. And
then try to explain why his two little precious daughters will never have to
'serve their country' in Iraq. Hmm.......but then double standards make up a
large part of operational 'glitches' in the matrix. If only you have the
intelligence to notice them.
Sad that you hold human issued land titles over that which was handed out by
God's prophets

Then if they were skilled at all with magick they would buy it, and meet
the price too, whatever it was. What they are doing shows absolutely no
respect for the Palestinian people, to the extent that it is likely rascist.
It is just another incidence of apartheid and even genocide, and it boggles
the mind that the world will watch it happen with no intervention.
Economic sanctions levelled the government of South Africa, and there
is no reason to suppose the same leverage would not have the same effect
on the Isreali government.
