I try and use my reason and logic with all I've learned from the Holy
Spirit and it has to make sense to me right here where I am n this
world. To me this lesson is stating an obvious fact that from God's
point of view there would NEVER be any reason to ever have a grievance
or complaint. Otherwise how would his plan work, he would be working
against himself if this lesson is true.
If from God's point of view there is never a reason to have a
grievance then that means as a child of God with my true nature being
one with him, I need to learn to not have them either. How can this be
possible except by having faith in God and knowing that everything, no
matter the form, works for good and IS part of his plan. If everything
works for good then why would I bitch and complain about anything or
anyone?
Huh gonna work on that one and try and see the good that is always
there in everyone and everything if I choose to look for it. Wow no
more complaint about anything or anyone...that will be different but
it certainly sounds peaceful and joyous.
If you, George, believe that:
" everything, no matter the form, works for
" good and IS part of [God's] plan
then (your) "bitching and complaining" about
"bitching and complaining" must also be:
" working for good and [be] part of [God's] plan
LOL

Part of the process I'd say and yes all of it I believe works for
good. My bitching and complaining has now taught me I don't want to
bitch and complain. :)
Yes, everything works for good;
if we *choose* to see it that way,
we will *experience* that it is true.
Hi Pieter. I thought I'd throw another lesson out there for you to see
how it relates to this theme. Lesson 101 God's will for me is perfect
happiness.
I've said before as I came to believe in God I always asked for proof
and reasonable ideas from him. It seems reasonable to me that a loving
God would love everyone and no one would be left out for any reason.
So it doesn't seem reasonable that there is a chosen people. IMO we
are all chosen as that only makes sense from a loving God.
It seems reasonable to me that since we are all God's children and he
loves us all that, the path to find him would have to be simple and
easy to understand as any father would want his children returned.
That anyone could do it and anyone could understand it. It would only
be a matter of willingness to try. This is one of the main reasons I
believe all it takes is the willingness to ONLY look at the good side
of whatever happens. It's simple, anyone can do it and anyone can
understand the simple idea.
Okay back to lesson 101. If lesson 101 is true God's will for me is
perfect happiness how could anything , "bad or tragic" EVER happen to
me or anyone else? It can't, that's the point all that CAN happen is
lessons can be taught me if I'm willing to look for them. I might make
decisions by myself and so the consequences are pain but the pain is
not bad as it is a road marker I'm heading in the wrong direction and
need to look at myself and my thoughts. Something I've done or thought
HAS to be out of accord with my true nature or I COULDN'T be feeling
pain as God's will for me is perfect happiness.
Did you follow my logic? Do you agree?
-.-.-. - I can completely follow your logic,
and I COMPLETELY agree!
Absolutely. The peace begins with me and no matter what anyone says or
does I don't have to let go of it. I can laugh at anything and see it
as an opportunity to practice what I believe no matter the form or
what my ego screams.

Then let go of the reemerging conflict in the newsgroup today and be
silent. (betcha cant do it. lol) Stop pouring gasoline on the embers.
And hasn't this newsgroup been the perfect place to remember and practice
this?
Much value in it.
I know you are writing to George, but I've always wanted to "be silent".
It seems like such a peaceful way to be.
Just observe.
of course, that could also be seen as being DEAD. Or paralyzed, unable to
talk for some reason. But, I mean having the self discipline to "not say it"
all the time. Or maybe some of the time? I get caught up in the word and
communication. Even though communication doesn't have to mean words, and
probably is better without them.
Yes, I remeber how much value John saw in it in this regard.
Doesn't matter what value John, or anyone else saw it in or got from it.
Who can say what is happening in "someone else"?
John was a great teacher, giving others a chance to remember and
practice what they believed- or believed they believe.
Lilke there's always the option of peacefully choosing NOT to be part of
something, and backing off. For me, I usually think of this belatedly.
I agree. And I'd also like to say better late then never. :)
And all that I give is given to myself.
Can you send me $100.00?
