Easy, Kirsten.
I can throw a joke at the graduates (or whatever) of the island, and we'll see
whether they'll spin themselves out on vortices of paranoia for months or
years on it or not.
I suspect that at least some of its graduates (or whatever) will indeed get
away from it all, lose touch with reality and cannot be called back to it, the
way some prominent members of these boards have done.
You remember: gate gate paragate parasamgate ... Gone to the beyond, with no
return ticket ...

Gone way beyond dualism.
Far gone even beyond monism.
So to think that it means "with no return ticket" is misunderstanding
because there is no "going", and nowhere to "go away from".
There is no difference between samsara and Nirvana; no difference between a
being in samsara and a Buddha -- still they are not the same.
