Volunteering on Holy Isle in 2010.
The Holy Isle Project is looking for volunteers to join us for
the 2010 season.
We are looking for people who can commit for a few months or the
whole season (March - October) and people to help us with special projects
happening from January - December.
We need: 2 full time housekeepers
Duties include preparing rooms & welcoming guests; laundry
duties; daily cleaning of communal rooms, shower rooms and toilets.
2 full time cooks: Someone with cooking experience would be most welcome or
someone
who is enthusiastic to learn vegetarian cooking for up to 80 people.
Landscape & Conservation Ranger
To help with tree planting, fence maintenance, rhododendron,
bracken and weed control, fence and path maintenance and dry stone walling.
Skilled tradespeople and labourers
For specialist project happening during the Winter months
(January to March) and throughout the season (March to October), we need:
Plumbers
Roofers
Electricians
Carpenters
French Polishers with experience of restoring and repairing oak
floors
General building skills
