Subject: It is a crime to boycott your Muslim brothers in Afghanistan

It is a crime to boycott your Muslim brothers in Afghanistan
On the 17th September, the Pakistani government in collusion with her
American masters announced that the border with Afghanistan will be closed
and that fuel supplies will be cut. This already follows the inhumane
sanctions imposed earlier this year by Pakistan in compliance with the UN
resolutions. Instead of strengthening the hands of the Muslims in
Afghanistan by providing complete support, the Pakistani government is
intent on making slaves out of the Muslim in both countries to American
hegemony.
Islam forbids the abandoning of Muslims. The Messenger of Allah said (to the
nearest meaning), â?oDo not hate each other, do not envy each other, do not
turn your backs to each other, and do not boycott each other. Be servants of
Allah. Be brothersâ?ť.
Furthermore, it is haram for the leadership of Pakistan to ally with America
in perpetrating this crime. Allah (Subhan wa ta Allah) warns "The believers
shall not form an alliance with the disbelievers, and whoever does that will
never be helped by Allah in any way" [TMQ 3:28].

Subject: Musharraf intends to entrust Pakistani security to America, the
foremost enemy of Muslims today
>From Naveed Butt official spokesman of Hizb-ut-Tahrir in Pakistan.
On Wednesday 19th of September an extremely nervous President Musharraf
addressed the nation to justify Pakistans support for Americas new crusade
against the Muslims in Afghanistan. He also tried to reassure the public
that
he would do his utmost not to undermine the security of the country. He
said,
Trust me. I will not disappoint you and there will be no compromise on
Pakistans security and our defense is our first priority.
How many of our leaders in the past fifty-four years have assured the public
that the US is our friend and will help us to protect our national interest
and
only then to discover that our leaders colluded with the US to commit high
treason against the Muslim Ummah? Indeed Musharraf compared the present
predicament facing Pakistan with the events of 1971, but candidly forgot to
mention the American betrayal that was instrumental in the disintegration of
the country. He further went on to mention that if the nation refused to
support Americas new crusade then our national interests such as the
economy,
nuclear facilities and Kashmir would be damaged. Surely, he cannot forget
the
humiliating defeat Pakistan incurred during the Kargil conflict at the hands
of
US intervention; or the current economic problems facing Pakistan due to the
policies of US led financial institutions such as the IMF and World Bank?
Musharrafs tense and nervous address to the nation last night clearly
demonstrates the extreme pressure that America has put him under. Amongst
the
specific threats that he mentioned were America using Indian bases and
installing an anti-Pakistan government in Afghanistan, thus exposing
Pakistan
to adversaries on both Eastern and Western fronts. Meanwhile, Musharraf
quoted
extensively from events in the first Islamic State in Medina that indicate
the
necessity of treaties with the kuffar in situations where Muslims face
overwhelming threats.
Musharraf fails to follow the very texts he is quoting, just as he fails to
implement Islam in the state over which he rules. The Islamic State used
treaties to keep the kuffar at bay thereby securing the sovereignty of the
state. Musharraf seeks to undermine the sovereignty of the state by opening
the
door to the armies of the kuffar to enter and occupy our land. Musharraf is
not
following the example of the first Islamic State, but is in fact following
the
example of the Mughals, who allowed the British to enter Muslim land and
maintain a military presence therein. Once inside, it was only a matter of
time
before the British added the whole of combined India to their empire.
The Muslim Ummah must realise that their present regimes are incapable of
confronting the kuffar, because these regimes have become agents to the
interests of the kuffar and their way of thinking. The Islamic State was
able
to confront the Quraish and the Jews because the state was independent
politically and ideologically. The Muslims of Pakistan must now re-establish
the Khilafah State, which will challenge the kuffar and secure the land of
Muslims from their evil designs.
