WHO? George Bush
WHAT? His cowboy culture of running roughshod over the entire world,
running his mouth off, running fast and loose with the facts, running
fast and alone (or with just a few buddies) into the abyss, and his
"shoot first ask questions later" mentality.
WHEN? It was after 9/11, Bush bravely took on a necessary fight
against the terrorists who attacked us, but then he diverted his
attention to an unrelated and unnecessary "pre-emptive" war in Iraq.
WHERE? It is in Iraq. Bush has led us astray by falsely claiming and
scaring us into thinking that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass
destruction which he would use against us. And then after his "Mission
Accomplished" boast in May 2003, Bush put our troops in jeopardy by
taunting the terrorists with his "Bring 'em on!" challenge last July.
His total lack of postwar planning, and his total disregard for the
Geneva Convention which prompted this prison-abuse embarrassments and
brutal retaliations.
WHY? Because Bush thinks he can be elected as the rough, tough,
self-proclaimed "War President" next time when he wasn't even elected
the last time around.
There are a lot of similiarities between Resident George W. Bush &
President Lyndon B. Johnson. So Bush should do what Johnson did,
another Texan who also had a cowboy mentality. Lyndon Johnson, after he
so badly mismanaged the Vietnam war and after he so bitterly divided our
nation and divided our world, he then decided that he owed it to his
political party and to his country to not run again for re-election.
Bush should do what Lyndon Johnson did, turn his tail and ride off into
the sunset, back to his cowchip ranch in Texas and then retire, for the
good of the world.
