If you look at the make up of the Democratic members of our Congress and
Senate, you will find that they make up a very good cross section of
America: Males, Females, Christians, non-Christians, African-Americans,
Asian-Americans, Hispanic, e.t.c. Democratic members of Congress are a
very diverse lot, they represent all aspects of our country, so when
they get together to work on an issue, every sort of minority view is
considrered and represented. When us Democrats get together, we have
our hands on the pulse of the country. We have a very diverse country,
and we also have a very diverse world. So when us Democrats get
together, we not only have our hand on the pulse of the country, we have
our hand on the pulse of the world, which is a very diverse world. This
is why the world gets along with America when us Democrats are in
charge, MUCH more so than when the Republicans are in charge.
The Democratic Party represents the wave of the future. The Republicans
party, on the other hand, represents the dark repression of the past.
If you look at the faces of the Republican members of our Congress and
Senate, then you will find out that they are ALL, all the Republicans,
are nthing but a bunch of extremist right-wingers...basically rich white
Christians, mostly men. In fact, there is not even one African-American
among the Republicans in either Congress OR the Senate. Not even one!
But there used to be a Black man, just one left, back in the last
midterm election, they actually did have one, and only one
African-American Congressman by the name of J.C. Watts, from Oklahoma.
But his fellow Republicans treated him so badly that he decided to quit
his job. That's what he did. He quit his job in disgust a couple
years ago, and now there are absolutely no more African-Americans left
in the Republican party in our Congress. Go to this link for more info:
http://www.nctimes.net/news/2002/20020702/55432.html Today's Republican party is made up of nothing but an ocean of lilly
white racist people, as far as the eye can see, of nothing but a whole
bunch of right-winged extremist, rich white Christian men.
Today's Republican party probably resembles the KKK of the past, more so
than the GOP of the past. But given the Repugs' propensity to overthrow
foreign governments and then install and support in those countries all
of the most heinous, torturous and repressive right-winged tyrants that
they can find, then I would say that the Republican party really more
closely resembles the Nazi Party party of the past than the KKK of the
past. In either case, the Republican party represents the past, the
very awful, ugly, and racist past which we thought we would never see
again.
