Even as a rabid Obama-hater, I have to admit he's right. There is no
way ***ANY*** Republican candidate can possibly win against Chairman
Obama, unless of course the voters are drugged before going to the
polls.
There is no future for the Republican party, it has completely self-
destructed. Americans are not stupid, they have memories, and they
remember the crimes and corruption of the Bush administration and his
Republican accomplices. Since the Republican party refuses to
acknowledge its crimes - much less apologize for them - it has no
chance of winning in 2012.
Many Republicans have already recognized this fact, and have abandoned
their party like rats on a sinking ship, infesting the Libertarian
party, as well as creating the rival neo-fascist Tea Party, in the
hopes of salvaging their failed ideology by disguising it under a new
name.
The Libertarian party may be able to save itself, ***IF*** it purges
the neo-fascists from its ranks. But I see no evidence of this, and
in fact the LP ran 'former' Republican Bob Barr as its presidential
candidate in 2008, and its biggest star is Ron Paul, who abandoned the
LP to join the Republicans. This does not inspire confidence in
former LP voters such as myself, which is why I voted for Ralph Nader
and Cynthia McKinney in the last three elections.
