Olbermann: Cheney ‘is nothing more or less’ than a traitor
By David Edwards and Daniel Tencer

Countdown’s Keith Olbermann has turned Dick Cheney's own logic against
him.
Pointing out that in the wake of the 9/11 attacks the Bush administration
demanded "absolute apolitical patriotism" of the public in a time of war,
Olbermann accused the former vice president of committing treason against
the United States -- "morally, if not legally" -- when the former VP
criticized President Barack Obama after the Christmas Day attempted
airliner attack.
Days after the attempted downing of Northwest flight 253, Cheney told
Politico that "we are at war and when President Obama pretends we aren't,
it makes us less safe."
That statement, Olbermann argued, amounts to treason by Cheney's own
logic.
If Mr. Cheney believes we are at war, then he, as the most recent
occupant of the vice presidency, is under the strictest of obligations to
put aside his case of terminal partisanship, and rally to the support of
his president in a time of war. Instead, his remarks not only give
encouragement to the enemies of this country, they give them an exact
measure as to how successful they have been in damaging our freedoms.
In a previous time, Mr. Cheney's pathetic exploitation of human
fears, his undermining of our courage and resolve and clear-headed calm
thinking would have resulted in his being chased off the national stage
by a public sick to death of the personal industry he has made of
undermining American freedom and of undermining the authority of this
elected government. And in a previous, more resolute time among
journalists in this country, nobody would be pretending that this obvious
fact is not true. It would have been in every newspaper and on every
broadcast.
After his disgraceful performance since Christmas, when terrorists
attempted an attack in this country, Dick Cheney is the beneficiary. And
if he cannot summon exactly the same kind of absolute apolitical
patriotism he demanded of everyone else while he was in office, he is, by
his own terms, nothing more or less -- morally if not legally -- than a
traitor to the United States of America.
This video is from MSNBC's Countdown, broadcast Jan. 4, 2010.
Olbermann to the Pugs assholes, "You can't kill me, cause I'm already inside
you...".
I'm sure all three people who still watch his show were thrilled.

Got that right!
Cheney didn't commit treason - in any way. He just pointed out the
obvious - that Obama, from nationalizing carmakers to getting deeper
into the Afghanistan quagmire, is a failed president.

Unlike your fraud pals at FUX and Rasmussen, Keith doesn't have to shit out
fudged ratings. Fact is, Keith's audience is well informed and above
average intelligence.
FUX Noise caters to loony toon Bush excusers and janitorial workers who
usually can't even fill out their food stamp applications without Ellie Mae
Milktits at the counter.
Babs is back? Changes messages to suit herself like a 4 year old.
Cheney outted a CIA Operative during wartime. His aid was arrested and
charged.
THAT is treason when the fat SOB puts repug politics above his Country.
Nah, he's a right wing piece of shit who puts party ahead of country.
I don't think anyone on the right cares what the Democrats and other
leftwingers, who put terrorists ahead of country, think about our
patriotism.
Isn't Olbermann that pompous, human bobblehead that screws up the
pregame and
halftime on Sunday night football? He should be fired. Along with
everything else he doesn't know, he doesn't know dick about football
either.
...and this is my problem why?...

You know very little about anything.

Holy cow, is Olberman still on the air? How does he do that with so
few viewers?
A huge percentage of faux news viewers are a captive
audience...in airports, in restaurants, in truckstops,
in every national chain that provides a ceiling mounted
TV, the channel is usually tuned to faux, and national
management will not permit the channel to be changed.
Faux News viewers want sound bites from talking heads
that confirm their prejudices; they do not want news,
they will scream like banshees to preserve their right
to be willfully ignorant.
And yet you clearly think Democrats care what you think about them.
See how that works asshat?
You dumbfuck, those people don't get counted in the ratings at all
(only one TV set going for thousands doesn't count for thousands of
viewers), and FoxNews still beats your commie channels hand down every
single day.
And speakng of captive audiences, MSNBC's mindless drivel is probably
shown 24/7 in prisons to its 99% Democrat audience. MSNBC is perfect
viewing for the Dumbfounded Dipshit Democrat (DDD) party.

So says the typically low IQ, bug-eyed Democrat.
Democrats and other like-minded leftwing nutbags are still the
stupidest animals on the planet.
