To say that long term vitamin D supplementation has no effect on your
prostate is absolutely asinine. It documents a failure to understand
how vitamin D works in the human body.

I'll have to look into vitamin D more but didn't find that particular
video very easy to watch. Might have to look around for other sources
of info on the topic.

Just by keying in "vitamin D" in youtube there is a lot of videos that
come up - might try watching some of them.

A good one to start would be "are you vitamin d deficient" by dr dowd
- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AIVHIRzde0

Over a dozen pages written on vitamin D, by moi, with close to a dozen
different videos referenced. Still people act like they have NEVER
heard of vitamin D.

I have been maintaining very high blood levels now for close to two
years. So, I wont personally wont need any Essiac Cancer Cure. :)

Smile, but no one cares, ain't it a bitch?

Some victims of cancer have high vit d levels. Some also die of heart
disease. Some people need to learn how to interpret study results and what
risk levels mean.

Ah yes, the old RCT that may or may not be flawed.

Being a newbie you may have missed the numerous (and monotonous) posts
pointing out that RCT's are up to 90% flawed. Here's the link - happy
reading.

This video "IS" a very interesting and engrossing video and, thus, an
easy to watch video FOR THOSE with a background in vitamin D.
Obviously, a casual reading of the SUBJECT of this THREAD indicates
that it ain't an introduction to "D," but rather zeroes in on
"Prostate Cancer." ONLY a totally "wacked" out person would take it
as an introduction to vitamin D.

Furthermore, this particular video is obviously targeted at the Male
Gender.

Of course, I once personally appealed a circuit court case in the
Court of Appeals of Virginia, which took over one year of effort,
based entirely upon moi reading directly and comprehending the Code of
Virginia for instructions on how to do so. For my legal briefs, I
spent one week studying the legal briefs of successful appeals at the
Supreme Court of Virginia Law Library (reserved for lawyers ONLY). My
I.Q. is above average. However, high levels of vitamin D makes me
"think" a lot faster.

High on "D," I want to move a whole lot faster, while the world around
moi seems to be plowing along in slow-motion.

YOU wouldn't be able to last one week in college, IMHO. Here, again
that is NOT my problem.

I just now viewed one more time, the following 30 minute long video.

Re: Vitamin D Reduces Prostate Cancer Lesions

Half way through the video in the Q&A segment Dr. Reinhold Vieth
gives the formula for computing "Loading Dosages" for vitamin D, which
is based upon the half-life for "D."

Hapless individuals currently suffering from full-blown cancer who
have not been regularly supplementing with "D" can achieve the steady
state blood levels of "D" that were desired in this research study, at
40,000 IU a day in just 2 weeks.

Thus, individuals currently dying from full-blown cancer and the
associated Quack conventional treatment of surgery, chemo, and
radiation should be taking between 40 and 50,000 IU of vitamin D-3 a
day; regardless of individual variability issues since the risk of
death from chemo is far greater than that of vitamin D toxicology
issues.

Who says so? NOT moi, but the above video certainly seems to suggest
it. :)
