I would like to suggest you this excellent human
rights and political site, which also includes several
human rights links.
Maximiliano Herrera's Human Rights Site is dedicated
to the promotion of democracy and freedom
worldwide. It includes these pages:
-Electoral Calendar which is a complete and
updated list of the past and next elections around the
world.
-Freedom in the World is a list of all the independent
countries ranked according to their political freedoms
and civil rights.
-World Rank ranks all the independent countries
according to their living standard.(HDI Human
Development Index).
-A World in Trouble ranks all the independent
countries according to the perception of the risk of a
coup or a conflict.
-New Countries shows the possibilities of some
territories becoming independent countries and of some countries being
integrated into others.
