I chanced upon a 'street interview' of two Alaskan women
a reporter came upon in San Fran. They agreed that Alaskans
have "low expectations" for any of their politicians. So,
in short, Alaskans just don't give a shit. The pols don't
bother them and they don't bother the pols.
So who are we to tell 'em otherwise ? That's the purpose
of a US 'state' ... it's a place where the locals can
kinda do things THEIR way.

Bill Clinton was impeached ... did you complain about

That's for the Alaskans to decide. Not you, not
the state of Illinois (speaking of criminal pols)
and not Barack Obama.
You mean the ethics violations she was cleared of twice now?

Q: What did one piece of a stained glass window that had fallen out
on the street and been retrieved by a stained glass window
repairman and put back into its stained glass window say to another
piece of the stained glass window after it had been carefully
soldered in place by the stained glass repairman?
A: Foiled again!

What are you babbling about? The Supreme Court is neutralized. It has
four conservatives, four liberals and one who switches back and forth.
Makes that a rather neutral court.....or do you wish to have everything
your way?
FWIW, the two justices most likely to retire are Breyer and Ginsburg.
Obama will replace those liberals with two more liberals.

Hell, ask the people in DC how long one can support a corrupt, druggie
mayor.

Duh...Hey Stupid....an impeachment is a indictment,
not a conviction...

Ahhh, but the Senate is allowed to expell a convicted

On Heller, Stevens voted with Scalia. On Kelo, he voted with Ginsburg.

Lefties (and extreme righties) DO hate 'democracy'. They
figure they're an elite that knows how everybody should
run their government and personal lives. They promise to
'represent', but what they really want is to *dictate*.
Their motto is "America : Land of the Free (to do exactly
what we TELL you to do)".
The moral of the story ... although the media loves extremists
who promote profitible 'controversey', always strive to elect
moderates instead.
Funny that all you do here, on UseNet, is assert you
know how things should be run. Clearly you're not a
"lefty."
Leaving only extreme righty.
Hitler talked about what was wrong with liberal thought.
You've picked up that burden.
"Heil Blackwater"......too many syllables, lacks that
clipped Aryan snap.

Bwahahahahah, Bob Barr......moderate....stop it, yer makin'
my eyes water. Oh lordy, that was a good one.
