BTW, on Forrestal his aircraft was HIT by a Zuni rocket that came from an F4
Phantom behind him, you deranged idiot. After getting out of his aircarft,
passing through a wall of flames he went back to help another pilot who was
on fire. You could at least try and get the easily verifiable facts correct.
Also note that the Vietnamese offered to release him because of his stature
as son of an admiral. He refused. Some claim he was a fortunate son to even
be asked. So? They asked him not the other way round. And the Vietnamese were
pretty good at playing the propaganda game. Had he been released how,would
that have looked? Was there any outcome from this little slice of life that
you would not exploit or lie about?
And none of the crap about him being a cooperative prisoner was ever stated
by anyone who had actually been imprisoned with him. Only postwar bags of
vomit without a shred of decency or a verifiable fact.

No. What it means is Democrats recognize that genuine military credentials do
matter to some, maybe a lot of voters. Since they can't field anyone with any
such credentials they must, being politicians and everything being political,
instead try to demean and minimize the service of those better than them to
even the playing field, no matter how dispicable the lie they must tell.
Morality and the truth are after all maleable and may be molded to thier
advantage with no penalty for doing so.
There is a lot not to like about Democrats, but I do try to stay to facts.
Sensationalized lies are only effective on those who lack critical reasoning
skills, a class made vast by the public school system. Such as it is when
they discover they've been lied to and misled they can also backlash more
then the more thoughtful types who knew they were being lied to all along.

That's the story i heard also. John mccain was a nutter who liked to
"gun the engine" on his jets to prove what a big man he is. This time
he did it and ignited some ordinance on the jet behind him and then
the mayhem started. But his daddy the admiral got him out of the mess
like always. Crash should have gotten 50 years in the brig.
