well, what next? seems like obama is rightly motivated to do the right
thing. but i think biden has it right when he said obama will be tested
severely. my only concern is that obama would flood usa with millions of
muslims - wittingly or unwittingly - as an expresson of his gratitutde. i
would hate to see usa getting checkmated in its own home by a large islamic
political base as it has happened in europe: britian already has sharia
courts. netherland and belgium are already choked up, and even france is
well headed that way. today only usa and israel speak for freedom. for how
long is the question given the declining white population in usa.
I appreciate your warm-fuzzy feelings but don't count the chickens before
they hatch. I'm glad to see the neo-con crooks leave their offices, but
the economic sentiment and situation is very serious and who is in the top
office is a normal mortal without powers of magic or sorcery. The
analogous situation is FDR times and FDR did a lot of things and not
everyone agrees that what he did caused everyone to climb out of the
depression. The prevailing consumer attitude is to cut back spending and
the prevailing corporate attitude is to leet the few executives keep their
jobs and lay off all the underlings and that is a bad situation.

I don't want to be pessimistic, but the mess is very very serious and
there are still a lot of special interests that don't want ANY form of

Sorry craps but we are here to stay and we will remind you of every
fucking promise that you break and of every lie that you tell. We
will also promise to give Obama the same respect and support that all
you craps have given Bush for the last eight years.
There are a lot of enthusiasm out there. Might be totally unfounded.
People would like "to take part". How they could? What Joe the Plumber
can contribute other than do his plumbing well, on time and at low
cost. But whether he will have customers?
The ditzy slut "harmony" was for a couple of years just as annoying as a
right-wing nut-job as he is in his current role of left wing retard,
before he decided to "go both ways". That said, Bush had the respect and
support of the majority of the people, but he frittered it away in a
very un-Presidential way. 2002 was the last year I gave that man my support.

You are more proof that liberalism is a very, very serious mental
disorder.
We don't need to impeach him, obama is not an American citizen.
Therefore he can never be President.
We are in a Constitutional crisis.
By defalt John McCain is President.

I'm happy that we are getting what we are getting and I am happy that we
are not getting the 72-year-old who could croak and then we'd get the
bimbo-airhead-teeny-bopper.
I wish Obama luck, but I also see a charismatic/elequent guy who, pretty
damned soon, is going to be up against the same old gridlock politics,
the high pressure lobbyhists, the special interests, and who gave him big
bucks to help in the election.
In all the recent elections, the new guy rides on a wave of popularity and
by the end of the term, the polls usually show the guy goes out with lower
marks than when he started.
If he pulls 100,000 troops out of Iraq and brings them home, that is going
to be another 100,000 unemployed guys in line for UE benefits.
Will the skinhead/supremacists try to assasinate him?
Repeat: I'm happy for the result, I wish him luck. Now, get back to
praying for miracle from heaven, or anywhere, for a short shallow
recession/depression.
You mean he wants to surrender to the terrorists.

You know, I'm thankful we did not get a 9/11 attack in the month before
the election. All that would do is push peole to McCain and we'd be
getting "Bush III."
Sticking stickers? When Bush II got elected, I just let it pass. At least
till he started talking war talk, then I said to myself this is going to
be "Viet Nam II" (and it is) and when he said WMD in Iraq, I laughed my
head off, I would have bet all the money I had that he was wrong. But I
did not. I missed my chance to be rich.
However, I will wish Obama luck.
Something like this actually has happened but in the opposite
direction. Some analysts believe that banking crisis played on Obama's
hand. McCain was to slow to respond properly and on the top of that as
a Republican he is associated with the cause of the crisis.
>

Naturally, let him show himself. I voted for him for the sole reason
that he is from the younger generation. Whether he will contribute
something positive is an open question, but as far as McCain is
concerned everything would stay the same for sure.

The lie that defines the left.
a) we are a nation of law, not men.
Elgibility is quite clearly defined. A member of his own family recalls he
being born in Kenya. Is that person lieing?
If a person who is not qualified is allowed to serve it makes a mockery of the
rest of the document. Sibce the President swears to "uphold and protect the
Constitution" as part of his oath of office, being in violation at the
swearing invalidates his legal authority from the very start.
b) You are lieing once again regarding availability. I realize that Goebells
said a lie repeated often enough becomes a truth, but only for those willing
to be duped.
If you are so willing to break the rules of the very governing document and so
baldly willing to lie about it, what can one assume about your intentions?

This is not a Birth Certificate. It is a "Certificate of Live Birth" which
may be issued to someone born in Hawaii or elsewhere. This proves only that
he was alive in Hawaii as an infant.
It is *not* the Birth Certificate that was issued in 1961.
What's so hard about getting a copy of your Birth Certificate? I had to do
it when I had a gov't job. You'd think someone running for President could

Still waiting for the verifiable cite.
He has to be a NATURAL BORN citizen to qualify for the office. (The
constitution contained another clause which qualified foreign born who
were citizens at the time of the ratification of the constitution
.....a one shot amnesty deal for obvious reasons).

Actually, you're treading in a discussion group relevant to my
occupation 'a.c.c' . My usenet posting's probably predate the first
time you typed on your first keyboard.
Lastly.. The constitutionality (and timing) of any particular law
amending the definition of "natural born" is suspect until it
successfully survives a Supreme court challenge.
