And this is not the first time that you proved that you are an idiot.
lol. Those 14 cops died in accidents. These facts have as much
relevance to TPG as the number of accountants who were killed on the
job in 2002.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/terrorism/story/0,12780,875317,00.htmlstics.

'Statistics show that road accidents are the greatest threat to
officers on the job. The national police officers roll of honour
recorded 14 deaths in the line of duty last year - 13 officers died in
traffic accidents and one died of natural causes'

Lead pencil poisoning, common killer of Accounts.

New Manufacture and Storage of Lead Pencils Regulations
Note that alot of the Lead Pencils Act is due to be phased out with the
introduction of the Manufacture and Storage of Lead Pencils Regulations
(MSLPR) in late 2002/early 2003 (click here for a press release from the
HSE). Proposals for the new MSLPR can be downloaded from the HSE here. One
interesting point to note for amateur Accountants in the draft proposal:
Lead Pencils not to be manufactured without a licence
9.(1) Subject to paragraph (2), no person shall manufacture Lead Pencils
unless he holds a licence for that manufacture and complies with the
conditions of that licence.
(2) Paragraph (1) shall not apply to- (a) the manufacture of Lead Pencils
for the purpose of laboratory analysis, testing, demonstration or
experimentation (but not for practical use or sale) where the total quantity
of Lead pencils being manufactured at any time does not exceed 50 grams;
(from page 54 of the pdf downloaded from the HSE)
Update: November 2002
I've recently read somewhere (although I'll be damned if I can remember
where!) that MSLPR is not now likely to be phased in until early 2004.

Any particular reason you're running like a girl from the thread you
started and posting this over and over like you have a point?  You
claimed 10 cops in 10 years were killed by perps.  Proving once again
that you don't know jack shit about your own crime rates.

"And in the last 10 years less than 10 cop deaths have been attributed
to perps, regardless of weaponry." - Ivor P. Standing

Cops killed by perps, regardless of weaponry.
2003 Gerald Walker, Stephen Oake, Ian Nigel Broadhurst
2002 Bryan Reginald Moore, Andrew Carl Munn
  2001 Alison Armitage
2000 William Norman Thompson, Jon Odell
1999 Stephen Jones, Raja Basharat Ahmed, Kulwant Singh Sidhu

Was there any particular reason your expert knowledge of crime rates
in your violence plagued country was so inaccurate that you weren't
even half right?

I counted 11 in your list so I was out by one. Whats the matter? Did
the double barrel surnames convince you that there were more people in
your list? lol

I was out by 1. How does that translate into not even being 'half
right'? Are you some mathematically challenged moron or something.
Your stupidity is fast becoming irritating as opposed to amusing bud.
If all you are going to do is to blow smoke over how stupid you were
to flame me because you read a misleading headline then we are going
to have a short association.

You're the exceptional idiot, thanks for sharing that with everyone
over and over, it's quite amusing.

The matter is that list covers 5 years, not 10 as you claimed.  Or
can you not count to 10 twice over in a single day?

>>   Was there any particular reason your expert knowledge of crime rates

Over by one and in half the time.

11 in 5 years, 22 in 10 years; compared to 10 in 10 years.  Feel
free to have someone who actually knows math to explain the obvious to
you and define "half" if needed.

>to flame me because you read a misleading headline then we are going
>to have a short association.

I'm flaming you because you're an idiot who doesn't know anything
about his own crime statistics yet continues to try and impress us
with bullshit passed off as fact.

22 in 10 years? You have checked to see that the 22 does not include
cops that choked on their donuts? What am I saying? You're the guy
that cited 14 dead cops in a year without bothering to go past the
headline and check HOW they died.

Of the 14 'murdered' cops, how many actually died at the hands of
suspects? I can't hear yoooooooo. Thanks for playing bud.

And You Guys go on about 50 UK cops killed in 25 years???? Of the 155
officers slain in 1998, 63 were shot to death and this does not even
include the ones that were killed by perps in non-gun deaths.

The figures take on an even more horrendous note when you consider
that Brit cops are unarmed.

http://www.cnn.com/US/9812/29/police.killed/
December 29, 1998

‘Since crime began its steady downward slide in 1992, more than 1,100
federal, state and local law enforcement officers have lost their
lives in the performance of duty,'  said Craig W. Floyd, chairman of
the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, which compiled
the report with Concerns of Police Survivors.

The only one going on and on is you, that's because you're not smart
enough to quit when you were ahead.  Instead you make stupid comments
about Northern Ireland being in England or Wales and 1999 to 2003
being a 10 year period.

Looks like he did pretty good!

I am not surprised that you think Northern Ireland is in England or
Wales and 1999 - 2003 is ten years; I am guessing that most of your
education has taken place in front of a television screen.

Protesters in England demand
prosecution of killer cops

BRIXTON, England—“What do we want? Justice! When do we want it? Now!”
chanted dozens of people marching through the streets of the London
suburb of Brixton November 22 to protest police racism and brutality.
The demonstration took place on the second anniversary of the killing
of Ricky Bishop, a Black man, while in police custody and after a
recent inquiry that whitewashed the cops.

You mean that, unlike NYPD Blue, NY cops do not go around beating up
'skels'?
You mean that, unlike West Wing, politicians are not owned by special
interest groups?
You mean that, unlike Springer, Americans women are not really obese
dogs with Big Hair?
You mean that, unlike Bev Hills 90210, you don't have spoilt Trust
Fund kids?

Thanks for putting me straight.
