Abdullah Ocalan, head of the PKK terrorist organization, met with the
new inmates of the Imrali jail for the first time. Their talks focused
on the issue of women. When Ocalan asked the inmates about their
views, they referred to the feminism arguments in some magazines
published by the PKK. "The issue of women is an aspect of the five
thousand years of rape culture," Ocalan told the inmates.
