How about someone who is either Charlie Wagner or is cutting and pasting
from his website, and who calls himself either paratope.epitope or
limitationsofscience? Oh, I see you have him already under one of his names.
I would also note that not quite all the loons are creationists. Uranium
Committee (UC) has been posting a little lately. JTEM is highly active.
And Ye Old One is increasingly bizarre.

Don't you dare put Zoe in the same league with those loons! I think
she's brilliant in her own weird way. And Mr. Sleep may be a crackpot

As Danny said "it is time again" for Darwinists to have a topic about
their enemies.
I could not be anymore pleased to have my name at the top of the list.
Since alphabetical order is not seen I must conlcude that I am the

Since Darwinists brown nose a naked emperor and actually believe apes

Well, there are benign and malignant loons. Some, like Zoe, at least seem
to be people you could chat comfortably with face to face. Ray or Jabs, on
the other hand...
A mean-spirited disposition is not a requirement for loon-dom. I enjoy the
Zoe threads; I'd hate for her to disappear, but her near-paranoia about
science puts her among the gaviae, nonetheless. As Harshman put it, she is
suspicious to the point of debility.

No, your loonyness makes you a loon. The "approval" of people who accept

Ray is, of course, lying here, just last month, on two seperate

George Evans thinks that I'm a liar and a coward.

> Since Darwinists brown nose a naked emperor and actually believe apes
> morphed into men
Still repeating this canard, Ray? Apes didn't "morph into men" any
more than canines "morphed into dogs." Humans are a species of ape.
(This classification precedes Darwin by a century.) The transition was
not an instantaneous one, either; it was a gradual one over millions
of years, and there are excellent fossils that document the
transition.
Repeating the "morphed into men" claim while running away from the
evidence doesn't just make you look dishonest, it makes you look
stupid. And silly. That's why you come off as a loon.

I've been lurking here for years, and it seems to me that recently
more of the local loons (Apobetics and Old Man Joe certainly, maybe
others) have begun making posts that start to sound like they are
working up to declaring literal jihad on both rationality and those
who practice it. It may be just me, but Apobetics' stuff, read at
face value, seems almost Goeringesque - Old Man Joe seems to me to be
working up to saying it is God's will that atheist evolutionists die
by the sword. I mean, folks like Skywise (aka Church of the Painful
Truth et al.) were nasty and malicious, but did not appear to me to be
engaged in dehumanizing their opponents to the same extent. Is it
just bad memory on my part, or is the lunatic fringe a little more
extreme recently?
Oh, and don't forget Jason Gastrich...
I don't think Zoe is brilliant. I think she's a reasonably intelligent
person who is trying to prop up a failed worldview as best she can. I
don't find that an admirable trait, nor a sign of brilliance. By the
same token, she is not a net-loon. She's just a person who can't overcome
her preconceptions.

mightym...@gmail.com
I almost said something similar... Zoe's always seemed a little too
kind, courteous, and reasonable for me to be comfortable calling her
"loon." But on the other hand, she's a person who simply can't
reconcile her own mental universe with reality, and it occurred to me
that's almost the *definition* of insanity. It may be a small and
quiet sort of crazy, but it's crazy nonetheless.

And Ray has not, so you can discount pretty much everything Ray says.
Ray is very impressed by Ph.D's yet lacks one himself, and still wants
people to accept his rather unique take on things. But please don't
accuse Ray of hypocrisy, because in his case he doesn't need a Ph.D,

The Bible and Science corroborate one another: the Earth is old. BUT,
since a Flood destroyed nature about 5000 years ago, the same as we
know it today, is young. Prior to this catastrophe, other catastrophes
have hit the Earth disconnecting nature from how it existed in
deep[er] time.
Old Earth/Young Nature insulates one from any problems that the
dinosaurs might cause or the absurdity of having any of them on an
already crowded Ark.

You have never shown any sign of being capable of doing that.

Again, you don't show any sign of being capable of doing that, or even
understanding what the theory entails.

Actually, Ray, humans are apes. Saying that "apes morphed into men" is like
saying "dogs morphed into poodles".

Your "description" is like your logic... badly flawed. What is absurd
about accepting what the evidence indicates? Why would apes changing into
another species of apes be absurd?

4.5 billion years old.

Why is there no evidence of such a flood? If there was a global flood 5000
years ago, we'd expect to find some physical evidence of such a flood.
Where is it? Also, how did this flood "destroy nature"? A flood may
disrupt a ecosystem, but it could not "destroy nature".
> Prior to this catastrophe, other catastrophes

What is your evidence for this assertion? While there is plenty of
evidence of past catastropies, there is nothing to indicate that they
"disconnected nature".

Dinosaurs still exist. They are called "birds".

The entire Ark story is absurd, even without having to make room for the non
avian Dinosaurs.

The Bible and Science agree - the Earth is old. BUT, since there was a
Flood about 5000 years ago that destroyed Nature - the same as we know
it today is young. Previous to this catastrophe there were other
catastrophes that separated nature prior to Adam from nature and how
it appeared in deep[er] time(s).
Old-Earth/Young-Nature also insulates one from any problems that the
dinosaurs might cause or the absurdity of having any of these animals
on an already crowded Ark.

Be careful, my good man; I'm pretty sure you don't want to get in bed
with Ray, theologically speaking. He thinks that God deliberately
included heresy in the Bible, and that the Sermon on the Mount doesn't
apply to Christians. He's also conflated Gene Scott with God several times.
Incidentally, I'd still like to know your school location and year when
you claim they banned Bibles and prayer.
Years. Ray's been promising his paper on talk.origins for over two
years now, and longer than that in other venues.
Except when the Mysterious Post Deleter strikes!
Certainly, and I think such behavior is abominable. But basic human
decency demands we treat her death with respect and courtesy, even if
she didn't do the same for others. Besides, she probably felt she was
doing a favor for those people. It's still misguided, but in a way, I
find it harder to condemn. Road to Hell paved with good intentions and
all that...

How about the problem of the absurdity of the Ark in the first place?
Nashie and Giwer yes, Tony I am undecided, Ray definitely not, he is a
certified, grade A genuine Loon. The fact that he is also a lying
asshole is s separate issue.
I agree with Sue. Nando is legitimately crazy (for example), and Dale
Kelly is most likely drug-addled, but people such as Wallofsleep and
Sean Pitman and Zoe seem quite sane, even though I disagree with
them.
I once made the statement "Never ask a Scotman what's under the kilt."
And he said "Thermal underware."
I'm not sure I can vote for you unless you give a good campaign

Bob.
Perhaps net-loon has lost its power as a word. Back in the olden days of
Usenet (well, I joined in the early 90s, so that's the Middle Ages I suppose)
that status was reserved for the most notorious cranks like Ted Holden, Ed
Conrad and Archimedes Plutonium; clearly disturbed monomaniacal individuals
whose claims were so incredibly out there that they occupied a higher plain
of madness. If you start including morons like Ray Martinez or the confused
like Pitman and Zoe, then the word loses all sense.
Let's put it this way. Never have I seen any evidence that Pitman or Zoe
are lunatics. Their worldview is clearly out of sync with reality, but
you could probably say that of a very large part of the population of this
planet. Net loons and kooks are, so far as I'm concerned, people who
exhibit psychological problems of one form or another.
One marginal individual is John McCoy. It's hard to see that anyone as
dishonest as he is couldn't be considered to have some sorts of issues,
but at the same time, he falls more into the lying confused moron
category.

Years. He even too a "holiday" from T.O. last year, promising we would
not hear from him again until a week or so before his opus was ready
for release. He then invented a brother (sock puppet) who posted
saying he had read Ray's paper and it was fantastic. The replies to

gave him the title Dishonest Ray.

Those of you who deny common descent think that molecules "morphed"
into men. In evolution, organisms don't "morph" species do.

We "Darwinists" (acually I'm a Kauffmaniac, but you know that) have no
problems publicly disagreeing with each other. You are not at the top
because you at least tepidly criticize other anti-evolutionists on
occasion.
