Some processes that are too slow to sit and watch happen. Tectonic
plate movements result in continental drift and mountain chain
formation. Galaxy formation, Universal heat death are also ongoing.
None of these things can be seen by casual direct observation.

If you notice that the Miller experiment was set up as what the scientists thought the early earth would be like. This experiment was designed to try to exclude ID. So they only tried to find the what they wanted the answer to be, that was life could happen on it's own. So this experiment was not open to ID. They were totally blind to ID, in their method of research.
What experiment would you describe as one designed to try to include
