I had trouble sleeping in the past, so now I just recite a Y.O.O gem
or two.

Come on guys, you all know the stages;

8 to 13 Hz

"Madman (aka Mudbrain) is on record as claiming:-
Science causes disease. "

ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz My eyes are heavy already.

4 to 7 Hz.

"That 3.5% actually means 25%...
That the actor Paul Newman was a creationist... "

11 to 16 Hz

"That "Dr." Kent Hovind has made lots of *scientific* discoveries...

That wars have been fought because some scientific finding
discredited
some facet of some religion... "

0.5 to 2 Hz

"To have a "higher education" than most posters to this news group...
To understand how geologists determine the age of any given sample of
rock... "

And now were in REM. The place where you hope Y.O.O drops dead, and
where it may actually happen.

"That trilobites were Cambrian mammals... [that one still makes me
laugh]
And that he has "created genes" and not evolved ape genes... "

Back to; Non-rapid eye movement sleep.

Wow, I feel relaxed already.

Hang on, here we go again.

0. to 0.5 Hz

"That linguists have traced all the world's languages to the Middle
East region and back to around the same time as the bible claims Noah
and his sons rebuilt mankind.
Claimed that talk.origin's moderator was a troll.
Claimed cigarettes do not cause cancer.
Now, I ask you, is this the sort of guy you would give an credence
to?
Certainly I don't. "

Can we come back from <0.5Hz?

If Y.O.O's still talking, please; let me sleep.

Just admit that your ally made all of those indefensible statements
and no one will recite them to you again. Why should he be able to
ignore his imbecilic comments just because you get bored when they are
mentioned?

Ok. Since you appear unable to find a single scientific discovery to
attribute to Kent 'Bogus Degree' Hovind - which of course would be
very hard as he has never did any science. I think you should start
with backing up your ridiculous claim that "Linguists have traced all

the world's languages to the Middle East region and back to around the
same time as the bible claims Noah and his sons rebuilt mankind."

Come on Mudbrain, put up or admit it was a lie.

Or, perhaps, either he missed it, too, or you never addressed the points.
Now, what is more likely, that the three of us missed your addressing the
points, not once, but three times, or that you're lying?

You can, of course, simply cite where you addressed the points. A Google
reference or a message-ID will do fine. Or, if you have the post handy, just
post it again.

Please note that your standard one-liner idiocies don't count as addressing
the points. You'll need to make substantive answers on each point. I don't
think that you can. Show me that I'm wrong.

Many, many, MANY problems.

His problem is simply that he has no evidence, and he knows it. Which is why

Please don't paint all atheists with the same brush. I killfiled Ye Old
One many months ago specifically because of the way that he continually
posts the same challenges over and over and over again as though that
accomplishes something. I'm also *not* a net nanny, and I know that I
cannot force anyone to change their posting habits just by harping about
them.

There is a Google Groups killfile add-on for the Firefox browser, which
I use. I've just installed the add-on myself, and it works. You could

So, it now looks certain that you cannot provide and scientific
discovery made by Kent 'Bogus Degree' Hovind. It also looks like you
are forced to admit that your claim that "Linguists have traced all

You can't force - but you can prod. I offer McClueless as an example -
eventually too many people were calling him on the same things over

When D-G made Madman out of clay he forgot to magic the brain. I think

I missed it, so please cite where you addressed those points. A link
will do.

Is that what you want? A discussion group where everyone thinks like
you do? What's the point of that?

The text is set as one of the optional sigs to be added. No copy and
pasting involved.

Mudbrain is not here to discuss, if he was he would have learnt
something by now.

Looking at the source of the original it is "-- ".

Read a Spincronic post in the morning and nothing worse will happen to
you for the rest of the day.

Ah. Well then. I will note simply that, for a sig, it's rather lengthy
and seems to show up far too often.

Fair enough. Let's chalk that one up to Google Groups fouling things
up. Lack-of-God knows, it fouls up so much else.

Only in reply to Mudbrain, and the number of times depends on the
