Call a liberal "G_dless" sometime. Know what'll happen? NOTHING!!!!

Nada. Zip. Zilch.

Know why? They don't care. They may even be proud about it. How's that
for warped?

One time I was out on the street and I saw a man with a shirt that said "I
support Evolution." I glared at him as he walked by, and then as he walked
away I shouted out "You another G_dless liberal?"

He turns around, kinda stares at me funny for a minute, then shrugs his
shoulders and walks away. If anybody ever called me "G_dless", his nose
would be feeling the wrong end of my fist, I can tell you that right now.

Not all liberals are atheists. Not all atheists are liberals. I know
that liberal is easier to spell, but you really ought to make an effort
to tell the truth once in a while.

In fact, most US liberals are Christians.

And the angel returned to heaven downcast and folorn. Soon he was called
to give a report on his mission. 'How did it go' he was asked. 'Another
fail' he replied. 'And the test was so simple, just a minor test of
Hebrews 13:2: Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some
have entertained angels unawares'.

'I manifested myself in human form, and in the mode of the times, wore a
t-shirt that said "I support evolution."' 'Sounds a reasonable test'
said the supreme being, 'what happened?' 'I walked toward him in a city
street and made sure he saw the message on my shirt. He glared at me as
we passed, and I sensed his fear and his hatred, and his readiness to
flee. As we passed and I drew away from him he mustered up his courage
and called me a "Godless liberal." I turned and gave him time to repent
of his sin of judgement and anger, as well as his unrighteous words, but
his hatred was too strong. So I shrugged and walked away.'

'He went on his way and I followed his thoughts, his fear subsided, and
he completely forgot his own cowardice, as he started to colour his
actions as some sort of defence of you. Sadly he did not hear the
muttered comments of the observers, "Jesus freak", "religious nutbag",
"shouldn't be let out alone," were the more innocuous ones. One little
girl was scared that there was going to be a fight, and asked her mother
why the man called the other person godless? Her mother said it was just
the way certain religious types were. The little girl said as they
walked away, "I hope I am never religious."

Later I again checked his thoughts and found him spreading the story of
his failure far and wide, totally ignoring his own cowardly behaviour
and his failure to act in a manner that brings honour to you. He has
even been fooloish enought to threaten violence against anyone who would
call him godless, when on todays actions alone, let alone his past, the
accusation would be justified, so he adds hypocrisy to his other
failures.

Sadly he is firmly entrenched in the mindset he has, and does not
consider the harm and damage he is doing to others. I have set a
watching brief on that girl and if she does not heed the call in later
years, this days actions may have to be re-visited, to the undoubted
chagrin of this foolish man who takes your sons name, yet acts like the
adversary.

So, basically, your problem is that, not only do you have anger
management issues, but also you resent the fact that emotionally
better-adjusted people do not share them.

In what country?

In Britain, the Christian church traditionally supports the Left
parties like Labour.

But you're not going to let a little thing like counterexamples get in
the way of a good, traditional, Americocentric fundy bilge avalanche,

Right. Same response as if you call a Christian godless. Of course, if
you call someone who is unbalanced (Taliban, pseudo-Christian nutters,
etc.) the results could be unpredictable.

And if they're not, then they would likely be proud of *that. In any

Good to know. Should we ever meet, I know what to do to provide a
credible claim to self-defense. Why do you give me that kind of power
over you?

Folks who actually know how to hurt others are generally reluctant to
do so. It's just responsible human behavior to refrain from assaults or
threats of violence. Folks who are not inclined to hurt others they
disagree with simply see this behavior as one more ignorant, barbaric
Yankee Christian frothing in public (which must annoy and embarrass the
Christians who read your post). Folks who *are capable of violence -
given the right circumstances - see this as cowardly and pathetic net
bravado.

C'mon, fess up: you're really an obssessed Loki troll atheist, right?

Most liberals in the USA believe in Jesus Christ as the Lord and
Savior.

What's freaky is the reaction of Creationists when they are told they
are CLUELESS: they just shrug their shoulders and say "Duhhhhhh.

I now concur.

Inez, this is what I thought until Bill or somebody pointed out the
different IP addresses.

Here's what I think happened:
1. Darek types a...@asd.com (look at the qwerty keyboard) for his email
address and gets a newgroup account with Google or somebody.
2. Logos does the same thing.
3. Google then lumps them together into the same profile based on their
"email address".

My bad; I was saying this for several weeks, and I didn't investigate
beyond the superficial Google groups profile. I hope I didn't lead you
astray.

Altho it's been some years since I've led any female astray, and it
would be nice to think I am still a danger...

A: I have never seen a shirt that said "I support evolution."

B: Natural processes, such as evolution, don't need to be supported nor
are they falsified by disbelief, unlike tinkerbell or god.

C: If you assume everyone you meet who recognizes the nature of reality
is a political liberal, some rational anarchist is going to kick your
ass one day.

find someone more intelligent to crib from.

I saw a sign today that said "Christ died for the ungodly". Is that what

Well, in terms of delivering the force of a punch, the "right" end would be
in the vicinity of the knuckles, so the "wrong" end would presumably be
around the wrist. Hmmm, the image of Logos slapping at someone with his
wrists might raise some stereotypical questions about his "lifestyle".

In my country (Britain), if you yelled "godless liberal" at someone on
the street they'd probably think you were imitating someone from the
19th century and put you in a padded room.

Honestly, how antisocial can you get? It's like pro-lifers (what a
stupid term, who the fuck isn't "pro-life") who wear t-shirts with
pictures of a foetus saying "I'm against pre-born infanticide" -
something I saw while on a visit to Maryland, which, to my mind, is one
of the more enlightened parts of the states. It's just extremist,
ignorant, in-your-face nonsense.

Logos is lucky that 'godless liberal' didn't smack him in the mouth.
Probably just thought he was crazy though. Can't hit crazy people, I
suppose.

Logos is undead. If the unborn (i.e. not-yet-born) should be treated as
thought they were already born, then my daughter the freshman should be
treated as a PhD and Logos should be buried. Or have a sprig of parsely
driven thru his heart, or whatever we do with the undead.

You can if they're a threat. You don't hit people because they're
annoying or even politically dangerous. You hit them because they are
an immediate physical threat. And if you hit them, break them.

<sigh> Yes, hypothetically you *can just grab them and hold them in an
embarrassing and uncomfortable position and wait for the police, but
that takes more practice.
