Fox Face shouldered his way through the curtain of skin and brush.
Winter followed him. The rest of the clan huddled closer together as
the icy breeze clawed at them. After a few heartbeats, the cold receded
and they turned towards the entrance to the cave. "Look!" exclaimed Fox
Face, "there is something still alive out there!" And he triumphantly
held up a sprig of evergreen.
