This challenge is well known : in fact, if you hang around here
a bit longer you will see it being discussed in another thread.
Noone wants to take the challenge, basically because :
a. What Hovind wants `proved' is his strawman version of evolution,
b. He requires an unreasonable standard of proof, from a scientific
perspective,
c. He gets to nominate the judging panel,
d. and noone is that sure that he has the money anyway.
There have been attempts to nail him down to a more reasonable
challenge, but so far unsuccesfully

e. Even if he does have the money, there's not much chance you'll get
your hands on it before the IRS does, given Hovind's tax problems.
It's too bad actually. I'd get a kick out of putting myself through
college again at Hovind's expense. Maybe I'd actually finish this time
around. :)
