Hi all.

I have re-recorded my 1990s song about evolution and plan to make a
music video to celebrate the year of Darwin. Does anyone have or know
of appropriate images? Some of the lyrics of the song include "You're
related to a monkey" and "overwhelming evidence."

There's also a bit about "The scientists argue how it happened; they
argue why. But they agree it did happen..."

So monkeys, chimpanzees, images of fossils, DNA sequences, arguing
scientists, etc. would be quite useful. I either need copyright-free
images and video clips OR if they are copyrighted, permission from the
owners. If you know of really good images or clips and aren't sure
about the copyright, send the links to me or post them in this thread
and I will investigate. Thanks

You could get aligned versions of the mitochondrial DNA sequences of
various primates, colour them according to the base so that the
similarities stand out, and then scroll them along the bottom of the
screen. (I'd guess that it takes too long to scroll through the sequence
to place this centre stage.

Whether this works visually depends on the presence of inversions in the
sequences.

For a smaller bit of DNA, the repeat elements of the nuclear ribosomal
DNA would do.
