Living creatures - The exact same species of earthworm is found on the
tip of South America and the tip of South Africa. They travelled over
on the big raft we now call America.

I find your explanation hard to credit. For starters, can you back up
the earthworm claim?

The same "family" not "species" of earthworms are found in South
America as in
South Africa. This is consistent with the notion that South America
and Africa started
splitting in the upper Triassic, lower Cretaceous. 120-150 million
years ago.

Presumably by "exact same" you mean "looks the same to an illiterate's
cursory glance". To an earthworm, you and chimps are
indistinguishable.

There are three families of Oligochaeta common to South America and
Africa, and another family the distribution of which is disputed:

What you have done is made a claim.

For some reason to you, you feel that DIG is immortal.
I think you are delusional.

Obviously, DIG is mortal and subject to dying.

Secondly, if a case was being run by the govt to try and keep
knowledge of things
like that from me, they would have a govt agent assume his usenet
identity, and pretend everything
was hunky dory.
Now why would the govt do that?
So they can claim I am crazy, when everyone can see DIG is dead.

So anyone and everyone here can jump in and type on usenet like a
mentally retarded 3 or 5th grade
special ed remedial student "no he's not", but that won't make it
otherwise, nor bring
him back to life, mentally retarded shill
charlatan liars!

So your claim that I am crazy because I claim dig is dead, in reality
he can actually be dead, so
as far as possibilities go, it is possible.

Well, gee, Michael, who peed in your Cheerios? Basically, you
made an absurd claim, but didn't have the wherewithall to do your
own footwork. Now you are abusive.

Basically the claim "that the earthworms of Africa and South
American are the same" is easily refuted. They are the same
family, but not the same genus or species.

from: http://www.earthlife.net/inverts/oligochaeta.html

"The Megascolecidae is a large family of often large worms found only
in the tropics. It is most well know because of its larger Australian
members such as Megascolides australis which may reach up to 3 metres
in length. Not all Megascolecidae are huge however, Microscolex dubius
from South America for instance seldom reaches more than 9cm (4 ins)
in length. Another Megascolecid Amynthas corticis, while slightly
larger with a maximum length of 17cm (6.5 in) is also interesting
because it is parthenogenetic (all females are asexual and give birth
to other females without a male) and because it can shed part of the
tail end of its body like a lizard to help it escape predators.

The Microchaetidae from south Africa are most well known because of
Microchaetus rappi, the longest worm in the world (6.7 metres) (22 ft)
which was found at the edge of a road. Most members of this family are
far smaller than this."

I'm not the moderator. Sorry.

Why did you post? What were you trying to say? I thought you were trying
to advance the notion that Pangea was recent, using the evidence that
the same species of earthworm is found in two widely separated places.
Aside from dealing with all the independent evidence that Pangea went
away a good 180 million years ago, you would have to back up the
earthworm claim in order for your post to mean anything.

Well I *was* going to ask why I banned you, but now I really don't feel
like it's a mystery.

The question is, should I be consistent and ban you immediately, or
because you're so obviously insane, let you rant for a couple days

Well, according to my 2nd year epistemology prof, I'm entitled generally

thereof.

So, who should we send copies of these articles to claiming that I
am dead, as evidence that you are likely insane, again?

As to forging USENET headers, you can examine the Path: header if nothing
else. Obviously any post I make comes from darwin here in Canada,
so all the posts on talk.origins you see should have identical Path
headers as they're ALL posted from darwin, since I post them, as moderator.

Again, I'd like to know *WHY* you think I'm dead. I haven't even been
unwell, nor in a car accident for a couple decades. As the concerned
party, I'd just like to know. Or if you don't feel like chatting I
can just ban you again.

Ok, but articles have to be posted somewhere, and travel via
various hops from server to server, to you. So it's possible
to determine that all the posts from this group can only be injected
at one of the hops between darwin and wherever you're reading it.

Even a forged Path: header would stand out as it would not match
other paths on other systems. This would be trivial to crosscheck.
Of course if you assume the US government is somehow controlling
a UNIX machine in Canada where ALL posts are coming from, then
obviously they can inject any post they want into t.o seamlessly.

If you do find any posts with nonstandard Path: headers would you
please send them to my notice as it would, in fact, mean that someone
is forging the Approved: header on them, which would make me mad,
as Moderator only I can Approve: posts.

You do know you're clearly barking mad, right?

You need to use some imagination.

Why for Xmas dinner I opened a bottle of port (after dinner to
be precise) and my daughter said something about port tasting
like cough medicine. There's a twist of truth there, except
the port I opened was older than her (Graham's 30 year old,
a gift) and so perhaps better than she's had before.

We did finish the bottle and I advocate the same for others.
It was good medicine for this father, son and daughter
after Xmas dinner.

And since golaszewski is a government agent, that makes him THE
tyrant.
Now how many people want government tyrrany in this newsgroup?
