I love intelligent conversation and I hope to one day have one. In
the mean time, if any of you guys that have a big difference of
opinion would like to air them in public, I would love to see it.

Your claim looks very strange if compared to your behaviour in your
posts as you never reply to the group's comments: does it mean that
you consider that no intelligent conversation is possible with the
people in the group (you say: "I hope to one day have one"!) and
actually despise the people in the group?

My week attempt at humor.

I was trying to imply that I wish "I" would, one day, have an
intelligent conversation. Until then, I will just listen to the
people in the group that do have intelligent conversations.

My humor does not usually go over well on Usenet. I don't know why I
keep trying.

Google Plus has the ability for two people, or more, to hash it out
face to face and record it for the world. I would like to see that
happen with some of the regulars here in the group. I sure wasn't
suggesting that I would be among them.

I understand your caution as some of the group may be particularly
aggressive or sarcastic or sufficient or all three at once!
I think humour should be used with great caution, I would say only as
a defense against an explicit attack.
