Given Einstein's comment about stupidity being infinite, and the talk about
Irony meters : is there perhaps a way that we can use all of this as free
energy, and reduce the US's dependence on fossil fuels?

Great idea - you just need to get a bunch of folks who deny the green
house effect and it'll as good as run it's self!

It's like static electricity -- it can zap you pretty hard,
but you can't use it to run anything.

While it's true that Creationist opinions seem to be a renewable, and
inexhaustible, resource, preliminary research indicates that using
them pollutes the environment and contributes to a global heating up
of the political atmosphere.

I'm still using an old Mark II, but I think the circuits are burnt
out.

Sorry, won't work. The power systems of the world require a steady
supply of energy input. Stupidity comes in bunches so you can't just
shunt your irony meter's protection circuits to the power grid without
letting the magic smoke out of all the capacitors in the state.

Why do you think North Carolina still has pockets of power outages?
Sure, the executives try to blame the weather, but do you think they
would ever admit their problems were caused by stupidity?

We need to develop hyperirony-electric dams to store and control the
power of idiocy.

We can't solve the significant problems of our time by using the same
thinking we had when these problems were created.

Hm. I thought Trent Lott ran on this.
