Why would an environmentalist support Obama?

that gives the new citizen the right to import immediate family. The
depth to which many environmental groups have buried their heads re:
population growth as a factor in the destruction of the environment.
One million legal immigrants a year, perhaps that many illegals. When
is enough enough?

Several reasons:
1) Lesser of two evils, I mean, politicians. To not put McCann and
Republicans in office.
2) You support him on the Chance that he will appoint some Cabinet
member favorable to the position.
3) The latter comes with caveats to political compromise. So if you
really want to vote Green, then vote Green.

"ted" has another problem. He seems to be allergic to immigrants (and
the Shift key).
Unfortunately for Ted, almost all of the people in the USA are
immigrants, with the possible exception of American Indians (whose
ancestors immigrated here around 12000 years ago). Since the ancestors
of most Mexicans also immigrated to North America around 12000 years
ago, it's Europeans and Asians that are the newbies.
