Page shows chronic problem areas. Population growth of the third-world
variety and declining economic growth paves the way.

Thank you Curley ! The Republicans have some kind of mass amnesia.
Suddenly none of them can remember that all this shit they are
complaining about is still the residue of asshole Bush.

This started when Ted Kenny managed "immigration reform"
through the House. Degenrate scumbag said it's passage
would not change America's demographic profile.

Minor relationship to the economy.

The end of the American Dream is a direct result of the 2000/4 President,
administration, neocons, religionists, Republicans and Democrats in that
order.

How do you find humor in the disintegration of the US economy?

Which was left over from Bush 1 which was left over from Raygunz which was
left over from....yadayada.

I seem to recall that Clinton left you with a balanced budget at worst or a
surplus, had the debt under control and times were relatively peaceful.

Bush almost single handedly causes a world wide recession, has your economy
in the toilet, you're involved in two occupations but somehow it's the
fault of the guy elected either last year or 9 years ago? The guy who is
actually trying to dig you out of it instead of further into it.
Funny that.

You are easy to amuse. Who blamed today's economic collapse "purely" on
the bush admin?

Ah, got it. Float another straw man for others to defend against. You
may be a good Rovian Republican but that doesn't qualify you as an
intellectual.

It was a surplus. Millions of us - we who are middle-aged to
elderly, and even some sophisticated youngsters - are still bitter
about that. Our deficit dropped from 1950 to 1980, at which point
Raygunz' 'advisors' (i.e., babysitters) ramped it up again. Between
1993 and 2001, Clinton got the deficit under control to such an extent
that there were for Cheney to waste on his insane obsessions. Which
he did. By the trillion.
The jerk bleating about "clintoons" is typical of the morons of
the right - a few simple slogans and a few wrong ideas, and they're
ready for internet. Obviously nobody has read them the memo
explaining that the majority of Americans can do a half-second google
search with thousands of items showing how Repub administrations
always went nuts using taxpayers' money as their private credit card.

It's only funny from the outside, Bob. But it's easy enough to
understand why folks in other countries might be thinking uncharitable
thoughts. And all I can say is that no, actually, we didn't bring it
on ourselves. Two elections were stolen out from under us, and then
there we jolly well were, with an evil old fool as de-facto Chief
Executive, a brain-damaged drunk showing up in costume to play
president, a bunch of oil cartels divvying up our food money, and a
mob of corporations demanding huge tax breaks and extra pay to export
our jobs to countries with inhumane labor laws. (The Bush
administration paid them.)
IOW, we've had our asses kicked. It's going to take a long time
for us to recover from the hostile takeover of our own government.
But thanks for speaking up for those of us who were hostages during
the Bush Debacle; it's good to know that there are sane people out
there who don't have to listen to FauxNews screaming lies day in and
day out...

Funny doesn't always mean humerous.
