I was going to write annotations, but all the annotations I thought of
turned out to be

(***) does not look neaarly this nerdy in person.

for every (***) in the picture, except Kibo and the kludge-o-scope, and

Sarah is not actually bald.

That really tempts me to make a gif of myself, because every picture
ever taken of me makes me look exactly like a Hell's Angel, even though
I am in fact quite nerdy.

ben - you don't want to meet me in a dark alley though

I wouldn't know, because my SGI utility dumps core whenever it tries to
read the .gif file.

Mine doesn't. Nyah nyah. In fact, all I have to do to look at
the gif is click on one of the articles, any one, and select the
"display picture or sound" menu item. My newsreader finds the
other articles, uudecodes, and runs the correct viewer on the
result.

God, I love it when somebody actually thinks about what people
want to do with news and how they read it, and then writes a
reader that does some of those things. Mind you, it isn't
perfect. And it's got gratuitous 3Dish gray buttons. But it's
definitely boast-worthy.

Does it really say that?

I had to try two gif viewers before I could look at it. The first one
was vpic.exe, and gave nothing but a blank screen.

Now I need the legend, so I can tell who's who...

I want it on hardcopy. This means I either need a raster file to send to
the film printer, or I need a postscript file that I can send to the wax-
transfer printer. The GIF file converters that I have do not seem to be
very happy with the file.

Bob is here, but he is not a group portrait. Can't you American types get
anything right?
