I developed an array of computer viruses. All of them quite
devastating. There were thirty-two suites in all. I gave explicit
instructions to the deliverance teams, each one of them, and had
recordings of the deployment of each. It confirmed my suspicions.
The feds were quick to capture the teams who were reckless in their
use of search software and free email services. In the capture of the
teams I had selected to fail under these circumstances, the feds did
not mention the brazen surveillance techniques which they used.
However, it was clear to me with very high probability that they were
being used. This was the real object of the exercise. To assess the
surveillance capabilities and morality (or lack thereof) in the feds
according to their willingness to observe what they would be
brutalized by the media for observing.
Ch. 1
Johnson suspected there was a common factor to the people suffering
from brain tumors. He *knew* there was something there, but could not
state what it was, not without observing every human being on the
planet and performing complex cross-referencing regarding the symptoms
and causes. And why not? He was also the most powerful man on the
planet.
Ch. 2
The results were coming in. It was the largest study ever conducted,
with a survey range of 6.5 billion people. The results were
conclusive. Brain cancer could be a thing of the past. However, that
was not Johnson's goal. He released the results more quietly than he
might have. He got the approval for his surveillance methods, both
future and retroactive. Then he used stealth diplomacy to start a war
between USA and Afghanistan and also caused Brad to break up with Jen
so that the results would be forgotten by most. He had what he
wanted. Total observation. His power had doubled.
