For example, while over 50% of Canadians identify themselves as Catholic
in census (the US does not ask), around 15% of Canadians actually
practice religion, Catholics included. It doesn't matter what the
identification says, a clear minority is religious. The same is evident
in Europe where Christianity has been largely abandoned.
Yet Western countries still identify themselves with a religion they
don't practice. In other words, the majority (western) is negligent,
not religious. America is the *only* western nation that still behaves
like a third world country, religiously.

I was raised going to church every Sunday. I report myself as Christian
in religious survey. I inherited the label. You see, when asked, I
just don't give it much thought. I say Christian, whatever, I don't
care, honestly. I have not been to a church (to worship) in decades. I

don't believe in divine salvation. I don't entertain guilt about what

Atheism is not only the default position, it is the way of the
