Sounds as if you had some other issues. I would assess by your
statements, that you were experiencing nihilism. It seems like you
are generalizing your personal experience and applying it to all
atheists, which is not valid. Most atheists are humanistic and
naturalistic, not nihilistic and have found freedom and enlightenment
once removed from such superstitious belief systems.

The true meaning of "christmas" is pagan. Is that what you mean?

This is a Zoroastrian concept which probably entered into jewish
thought during the Persian Empire. It predates christianity.

#1. This theology is absurd - god needs blood, suffering, and death to
pay for people's sins??? Primitive ideology.
#2. What is your criteria for "historically verified?" It must be
pretty low.
The gospels were more second, third hand hearsay written down at least
30 years after his alleged resurrection and at least 60 years after
his alleged birth Those are lenient est. It may have been around 100
years. The fact is we do not know. That is the whole point...it is
irrational to base one's belief system on something so uncertain and
gap filled.

By the way, according to the bible god's sovereignty and providence
directs and controls all, therefore, this is god's will to make his
glory known. (look it up)
So, in the end god has ultimate culpability.

Saturn, Mithra, Dies Natalis Invicti Solis, Santa Claus, spending
money, eating, putting up pagan representations to celebrate the
winter solstice.

FYI. Homo Sapiens is a clubbish animal from way back to his early origins,

Nothing changes very much does it ?

'Historically verified'...!! LOLOL!!!

After which you'd sneek down to the local gay bar for some anonymous
