Please help me, a few questions..

OK,

so i have build the whole tagtool and now i connect it to the pc, he
sais: found new hardware..
so i have installed every thing needed! Now i run nodekit and it sais:
" Die Datei C:\Program Files\Nodekit\save\Drawing.tagtroj konnte nicht
gelaten werden "

i click: OK and then nothing happens? i just see the nodekit software
in front of me with the sidebar on the left and my question is;

WHAT NOW?? Do i need to click anything else? i dont understand
anything about it but its pretty frustating after 10 hours of trying
it all over again the whole time :S

PLEASE HELP!

Hey Vage Kaas,

You need to locate the file Drawing.tagproj and load it into the nodekit. (file--> open->...)
It's probably located in /my documents/nodekit/...
If not.... I would try to reinstall the nodekit (and use all default installation options).

I had the same errors after saving a .tagproj file while a drawing was present on the screen.
I've learned to only save an empty composition that way. Otherwise the .tagproj file is corrupted.

I found out that my computer didnt hav the right videocard so that was
the problem..
i tried my tagtool + nodekit on another pc and it worked :D

now my next problem is that the faders dont get recognized ... DAMN!!
So my next mission is to check if all the connections are solderd
right,
or do u hav another option i can try to get them to work ?

When u connect your arduino are there any LEDs on the board flashing?
If yes, there is no short circuit - the problem may be the right
connections. Check it carefully again.
If no LEDs are flashing you have a short circuit. Maybe the screws of
the faders are touching the electronics - or some soldering messed up?

Did u upload the correct Arduino Patch?

everything is working now!
thanx all u guys for helping me in the right directions
thanx to mat who helped me out a lot with some good tips that made the
braketrough!

i had soldered the 1 of the left side of the faders and the 2 of the
right side of the faders..
so the was only a half connection:) then when i finally connected it
to the pc IT ALMOST WORKED
all i had to do was get very angry and slam the button, and all of a
sudden it worked... haha

a bit of anger managment might do me good :P
