Rating guests

I answered this question to a friend in email and figure I should post
it here as well!

Rating the guests does affect things quite a bit. Guests you give a
negative rating to will immediately leave the fray and not come back.
Giving guests a positive rating will affect what kinds of guests come
to the island. If, for example, you keep giving thumbs-up to Asian
girls, you will tend to get them more often. Ditto for tattooed, short-
haired, blue-eyed, red-haired, punk, goth, etc. It's a fuzzy but
effective system. Same with thumbs-down; guests of that type will be
less likely to come.

Also, there will soon be a global effect on rating guests: for those
people who don't bother to rate guests, the guests who have the best
ratings overall will tend to show up more often in the game.

Lastly, rating guests lets me know what kinds of guests people like
the most and helps me focus on finding more of them!

This will have more and more of an effect as I add more pictures; my
goal is to have thousands of snaps and hundreds of guests. Let me know
how well you think the rating system is working for you!
