Hi, thought you would like to know that on the latest tip of tree in
order to get readline to build I had to add:

         env.MergeFlags("-lsyx")

just after line 38. Without this it was missing several symbols. Also
FYI, on the mac building with the latest tip using autotools appears
to be broken, it looks like for some reason the PKG_CHECK_MODULES
macro is not getting expanded (I apparently have the pkg stuff
installed on my mac but it wasn't having any of it I'm afraid).

Hello, the -lsyx always broke builds on Windows but I fixed that sometimes ago.
Can you tell me on which platform you were trying to build Syx?

I was on Mac OS X (10.4), for both. I did try autogen.sh, but no joy
I'm afraid :(

My friend with iMac reached to compile successfully and do a make
check with 0.1.7 sources, but he didn't regen autoconf stuff. Though i
decided to release the new version to unfreeze the development.

What about your situation? See previous email.
