Hi,

I am new at SysML and I trying to understand what SysML patterns I
should follow in order to address the fact that there can exist
multiple versions of an interface specification. A given block may
implement one or several versions of an interface. An interface can be
backward compatible with its previous version.

Any recommendation in this area?

Hi Dan and Jmbruel,

thanks for the feedback!
I do not see any contradiction between your proposals, they seem to
complete each other.
First a generalization pattern forcing the different versions of an
interface into different subclasses (jmbruel's proposal). Then I
believe that on top of that, one could follow the conventions proposed
by Dan.
The two together look actually like a good proposal to me. Have I
missed something?
