Subject: SysML and MATLAB

Hi all,

A recent correspondent has posted re linking a MATLAB output into a SysML
package. This capability (or more especially, the reverse - moving from
SysML into MATLAB/Simulink) would be hugely interesting to me. Do most
packages support a link?

What resources are available to describe the process? I've found some
papers talking about C++ output from both, but feel that we should be able
to do better.

Thanks,
Max

Hi Max,

If you were to use MagicDraw with the SysML Plugin and ParaMagic Plugin,
you can create Matlab and Mathematica constraint blocks that will link to
functions or scripts in each of these solvers.
This is the only package that I have found that supports this
functionality. This is very easy to do, and an example is shown in the
ParaMagic Tutorial PDF.

This is the link I used to download the PDF. Easy enough to find on google
ParaMagic Tutorial<http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=...>

Many Thanks

Artisan Studio from Atego certainly has this capability and more including code generation integration. Let me know if you would like to find out more.
