Looks like the upcoming First Friday would have been ideal to have a
booth at, especially if we were pushing the technical bent of SYN
Shop.

Maybe we can horn in with someone a bit?

At least build some relationships.

Or ask if they have an empty spot, since we just found out about the theme. They may make an exception.

The question is, can we put something together by then? If not, then it isn't an issue.

Showing of what we have and build stuff they can get next month would still be pretty good. Can we get at least the banners that quick?

Hell, just have the vending machine there torn apart would grab a lot of attention and would be a good story to tell everybody. And it really shows off what we want to do.

I don't want to discount this idea too much, it doesn't hurt to ask,
but I don't think the FF management allows walk-ons this late in the
game. I'm trying to reach out with the FF contact that Shawn Looker
gave me, so we'll see where that goes.

Also, since none of the people that showed up on Saturday have been to
a FF (either never or not in a long time) I would really like to go
test the waters and see what we are dealing with.

Do we all want to meet up at a particular time and place on Friday?

I don't have a suggested meeting place, but I was thinking 7pm?

Anyone who has gone recently have any suggestions? I'm thinking that
since the educational pieces are at Colorado and Casino Center?

I'll be sending out a definitive answer near the end of the week.

PS. Hey, Moksha is playing from 8-9:30 near there too! Sweet!

Meeting at the smaller section across Charleston would likely be easier if we're not meeting up at a specific place around there.  The place is usually super packed so its tough to find people. :)

Where are the parking lots located near the Colorado/Casino Center events?  I really don't want to walk from the El Cortez.

I'm honestly not sure.  We usually park in a vacant lot in the arts district, but it fills up super quick.  I hear there's a shuttle that goes from the El Cortez, but I've never found it (but I haven't ever looked really hard).  And walking from the El Cortez its about a mile.

I usually go about 2 months in three.

About 2 in 3 is my average too.  Sorry I couldn't show up on Saturday.  I'm super interested in doing this, but had surgery last week so couldn't make it.
