Why are we even listening to Republicans?  They are the party of war.  Remember how they orchestrated war against Iraq for the purpose of capital conquest? ( oil ) Do you remember the lies they told us?  Do you remember how they terrorized us with the vision of a "mushroom cloud" coming from an Iraqi nuclear weapons which never existed?

Now we are listening to them rev up the engine of war against Iran.  This is insanity.   There is plenty of money to "make war."  Where is the money for those who want to "make peace?"  Nature loves balance.  For every dollar that is spent to support war there should be one to support peace.  For every dollar that is spent to generate fear there should be one to generate love.  For every dollar that is spent to create conflict there should be one to resolve conflict.

We are out of balance.  Money support war more than it supports peace.   Why is that?   Because war yields profits in terms of money and peace yields benefits in terms of virtue.   War is not a virtue.  Peace is a virtue.  So where is the money to teach virtue in the schools?  Where is the money to teach conflict resolution?  Where is the money to teach how to consume less and share more?

Sometimes when I say "money is evil" people say "no, it's neutral."  But if it is neutral then it would support peace as much as it supports war, conflict resolution as much as conflict creation and love as much as fear.   I think when we balance things out we will find that war is unnecessary because peace is stronger than war, virtue is stronger than hatred and unity is stronger than division.
