Subject: sfGuard + Propel + Registration Form + Email

Hi, recently I inherited a app build on top of Symfony 1.4.x and sfGuard
plugin. This app also uses Propel as ORM. Now I need to add a new
functionality and it's the support to register new users from outside
plugin administration and also send custom emails on register and password
lost. I found the plugin sfApply but seems to be abandoned. I try to change
from Propel to Doctrine and then use sfForkedApplyPlugin but it's a pain in
the ass. So can any help me here with ideas or someone do this before?
Cheers and thanks in advance

Have a look at:
http://www.symfony-project.org/plugins/sfGuardExtraPlugin
It adds (some) of those feature you said with Propel ORM.

If there is no functionality written for this in a plugin you will have to
implement your own. It should be no more than a couple of days of work in
my opinion.

Nice, I knew this plugin but didn't think on it before :( my bad, anyway
I'll probe both the Doctrine + sfForkedDoctrineApply plugin and also Propel
+ sfGuardExtraPlugin so I can learn a bit more
Thanks again
