Hi!
We're starting a developer group, where we can meet up, discuss
Symfony, and just generally have a good time.
We're planning to make this a monthly thing, but we'll discuss that
more closely on the meeting itself.
And as if the meeting itself isn't great enough, E-butik will be
sponsoring the event with free food and beer. E-butik is also hiring,
so if you're interested in working with cutting-edge web technologies
like Symfony2 and MongoDB, be sure to talk to Tom Svensson, who'll be
there.
Please help this developer group get on a roll by spreading it to
everyone you know who might be interested.
Meeting 1 – Starting up
When:
19:00, Thursday 17th of November
Where:
The Park
Sveavägen 98, plan 2
I (Magnus Nordlander from E-butik.se) will talk about MongoDB
(especially Doctrine MongoDB ODM), what it did for E-butik, what it
can do for your project, and how to best use it in your Symfony2 code.
After the main presentation, we'll be having a mixed discussion/show
and tell. Bring your laptop and hook it up to the projector to show
your latest project!
We'll also discuss the future of these meetups, what we want from them
and some logistics like when we're having them.
Food and/or beer:
E-butik will buy food and beer for everyone. Please reply to this
message if you're coming to let us know how much food and beer to get.
