Which bible files do you think violates copyrights? Once in while I
checked the files repository to check if there are bible files that
violates the copyright. I have removed those which definitely violated
copyright (NIV, The Message, etc). I will remove any files that
violates the copyright.

I do not have time to maintain record of the permissions (I barely
have the time to maintain the software), I just assume that if it is
available in palmbibleplus site
(http://palmbibleplus.sourceforge.net/bibles.htm), and/or the SWORD
project (http://www.crosswire.org/sword/modules/ModDisp.jsp?modType=Bibles)
then it will be OK to use, but I have not checked each of their
license.
I believe the palmbibleplus guys are more careful in keeping track of
copyrights, and since symbianbible reads palmbibleplus files, then it
should be ok to use the freely available files for symbianbible.
I just put a warning to everyone

No, this project is the home of symbianbible, the open source bible
reader for symbian phone. And just like any other bible reader it
contains links to some bible files so you can easily try the software.
You are welcome to volunteer yourself to maintain and keep track of
the bible licenses.
