The original failure was:
16 Bit Window Subsystem POP UP
Hidden Console of WOW VDM
D:\Progra~1\symantec\s32evnt1.dll
An Installable Virtual Device Driver failed DLL initialization.
Choose 'Close' to terminate application.
I edited the registry (from advice of symantec):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Current Control Set\Control\
Virtual Device Drivers\
Edit String
Value Name: (default)
Value Data:
Value Name: VDD
Value Data: 0000 00 00
I do not get the POP UP error, however, I cannot load the Norton
Anti-virus 5.0 software.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thank You.
