We've got a fulltime role coming up starting end of this month. Our
standardised stack looks like this:
Version control: SVN
IDEs: Eclipse / PDT
Standard LAMP stack.
Op code caching: APC
Memcache for sessions / result set caching
CMS: ExpressionEngine with custom module admin framework
Front-end PHP build: Zend Framework
JS: Jquery

We have a development position available where you'll be working on a
diverse range of titles and be given the opportunity to show

this role you must have relevant experience building sites using OO
PHP5/MySQL, a strong understanding of HTML/XHTML/CSS compliant
standards, Javascript (you love jQuery) and are familiar working with
Apache/Linux environments. You'll need to be able to work
autonomously and as part of a team and be happy to work with and adapt
existing code. To give yourself the edge you, have written web
applications for high traffic sites, have a solid understanding of the
major PHP MVC frameworks, worked closely with SVN (or other revision
control packages), see the benefits of an enterprise release
management strategy, be enthused about writing high quality code and
love a good puzzle. News Magazines produces some of Australia's most
recognised and respected magazine titles. Our growing online
portfolio sees 2.8m+ unique visitors and serves 26m+ pages per
month (Dec '09) and we hold the #1 online properties in the Fashion
