This role would be suited to an experienced developer who is seeking a
challenging technical role which will provide them with opportunities
to contribute to the delivery of high performance, scalable
applications including a content management platform, portals, IVR and
a host of new projects coming up.

With additional responsibilities and accountabilities including:
• Requirements gathering and review/co-authoring of functional
specifications
• Technical design and implementation
• Integration, performance and stability testing
• Perform and participate in peer design and code reviews
• Participating in production deployments
• Continuous improvement initiatives
• Plus lots more....

innovators across many technologies and languages you will have the

Essential Skills/Attributes:

The successful candidate will posses excellent communication skills
incl. written communications for project documentation etc along with
a rigorous, disciplined approach to development/SDLC and the ability
to work autonomously and as a part of a team, in addition to:

• Demonstrated expertise in writing high-quality object-oriented
enterprise-grade applications primarily in PHP/MySQL
• Demonstrated understanding and comprehension of design patterns and
algorithms
• A hunger to play a significant role in ultra-high volume, critical
messaging applications.
• UNIX/Linux and Windows working knowledge
• Strong SQL skills
• Programming languages (Java, Perl, JRuby) (desirable)
• Experience in the SMS/MMS/WAP messaging (desirable)
• Knowledge of Unix tools i.e. awk, sed, grep, top, iostat, prstat,
etc (desirable)
• Open to learning, adaptable and a master at multi-tasking
