Hi all,

We have a client who we've had a software development relationship with for some years.  We've developed a core web site and a range of other related sites for them, using a bunch of different technologies including Drupal, Symfony, Zend Framework and a simple custom MVC framework (that pre-dates Zend, the more recent stuff is done in Zend).

The lead developer on that project is retiring, and as PHP developers are scarce at the moment we're unable to continue servicing the client and would like to find someone to take over the work.  There are quite a few outstanding development requests for the client and many more that come in all of the time, so it needs there to be at least 2-3 developers available for the project on at least an ad-hoc basis.  There are some bugs in one part of the current project that need sorting out as well, but we have another independent team taking the testing of that in hand.

I have a fair degree of knowledge of the architecture of the system, and the retiring lead developer said that he'd be happy to go and do a project handover of the system to a new team when required.  So it won't be a blind handover, but there is limited documentation for some parts of the system (e.g. we expect you to know about PHP, Drupal and Zend Framework without having to explain it at you).  I can explain a bit more of the architecture to anyone interested in taking it over, without boring you all with the details here.

The client is in Melbourne but their owner travels a fair bit, and we've been servicing them successfully from Sydney for some time.

Let me know by email if you're interested.  I'm rarely contactable by phone, and my hearing is not good so if you leave a message saying you'd like to have a teleconference about it, I'm unlikely to respond to that.
