Subject: PHP Developer Position - Waterloo
Genos International (www.genosinternational.com) is looking for a PHP
developer with strong web design skills to join our small, friendly
team here in Danks St, Waterloo.

So if you have:

* 3+ years of PHP experience
* Solid Javascript experience
* A good eye for web design
* A strong desire to work on one code base implementing strategic
features rather than many different code bases for many different
customers
* A preference for working on Macs rather than Windows
* And a desire to work with a small, friendly team of organisational
psychologists and coaching professionals

...then please send your resume (or Web 2.0 equivalent :-) to
ph...@genos.net.au.

Other info pertaining to this position:

* Initially this will be a 12 month salaried position, with the
possibility that it will convert to permanent after that time.
* We are offering $80K + super and because it is a salaried position
it includes statutory sick leave, four weeks annual leave, etc.
* Start date is flexible, but we are currently targeting Feb 1, 2010.
* This position reports to the CTO (the only other developer in the
organisation).

Genos started life as a psychometric consulting company and has, over
the years, developed a reasonably sophisticated psychometric
assessment application in PHP/MySQL. Our goal for 2010 is to build a
new system that incorporates a subset of the features of the existing
system but with a much better user interface, hence our desire to find
somebody with strong front-end skills. The CTO's role in all this will
mostly be to keep the old system chugging along and deal with support
issues, etc, so that the new developer can work uninterrupted on the
new system. Yep, that's right: the new person gets to work on the cool
new project and the existing staff member gets to do the cruddy
maintenance work. In a small team. In an office with un-timed parking
across the road. And nice cafes nearby. What's not to like? :-)

For more information feel free to contact ph...@genos.net.au.
