Sewing machine troubles

Someone on the chat list said they were having trouble getting the sewing machine going. I'm happy to have a look at it next Saturday - could someone please let me know its make and model number?

And I've just been told there's a manual in the box. Excellent... Warn the machine that there will be *no* mercy when I see it next week.
