Flying this Saturday

Hey guys, weather permitting I'm going to go flying before I go to the space Saturday.

I'll have my Bixler FPV  and I should be able to patch together a slow flier if any non-fliers want to have a go!

Jason also has his Wilga he is preparing to fly for the first time!

Dust off the birds and come join us!

Hi Tim,  don't think I've met you at the space yet...

 

I've never flown before, but I would love to have a go, do you think you will have a beginner's type plane with you on Saturday?

 

I can hopefully make it, I've just gotta get back to Gladesville for a brunch at 10.30, which should be do-able...

OK guys if you have any kites bring them :) Max has some nice stunt kites and I have a small power foil to fly.

Yeah I will send an email out before 8 (well, around 8 anyway) letting people know what is happening. Me and max have kites we want to fly if there is to much wind for planes and if it's raining well go straight to the space.

Oh yeah, my Bixler arrived a few weeks ago and I haven't built it. 

 

What's the current thoughts on spar strengthening and any other "must do" mods before maiden?
