For those hackers who struggle with too many terminal sessions
in the wrong places, just stumbled upon Terminator:

It's available in ubuntu software centre.

It is good, but it can also get laggy/unresponsive when you've got too many sessions open.

Just open new tabs in gnome-terminal (Ctrl-Shift-T), most of the time you don't need to see multiple sessions concurrently...

Or just use screen. All the cool kids use screen ;)
